  • 1 in 4 slaves in the world today are children. Many of those children are trying to repay debts or earn money for their family’s survival. Many are bound to their captors due to a variety of reasons that they have little to no control over. These can include their social status, financial instability, or responsibility to family. On their own it can be difficult to truly walk away as they may not have the knowledge of what resources are available to them. How can wearing a dress everyday help children in slavery? Well, we believe that our voices together have power. Dressember relies on the expertise of our grant partners to use the funds we raise in #Dressember to break down barriers that keep children from experiencing hope and freedom from modern day slavery. On day 6 of Dressember, would you consider giving? Follow the link in my bio to donate. #Dressember #untilallarefree #itsbiggerthanadress

  • Rain ☔️ or shine ☀️ I’ll be wearing a dress everyday of this month for #dressember2018 Dressember partners with 12 organizations around the world to fund targeted, strategic ant-trafficking programs that are providing services, rescue, and aftercare for survivors of human trafficking. On day 5 of Dressember, would you consider giving to help fund these important missions. If you’d like to donate follow the link in my bio. If you made it to the end of this long post, thanks for hanging in there!😁

  • Dressember Day 3! Did you know it’s estimated that there are 40 million people currently trapped in slavery. It is such an overwhelming number it seems almost impossible to help. But by raising our voices and raising money we can do a lot to help. Money fuels crucial rescue and rehabilitation, and increased public awareness inspires increased government and nonprofit action. Join the fight to end modern day slavery. Click link in bio to donate. #akwarddressselfie #Dressember2018
