January 12, 2018 Taylor proposed and began the amazing whirlwind of this whole past year! Engagement, planning a wedding within 3ish months, getting married, moving in with each other, honeymooning, and newlywed adventures!
Yesterday (1/12/19) we spent the day reflecting and celebrating this whirlwind of 2018 and the excitement of what’s ahead, so I wanted to share our engagement story (if you haven’t read it, click the link in my profile), & some treasured pictures Taylor just found on his film camera from the day of our engagement! We’re not even celebrating a year of marriage yet, but the heck of year we had to date, is surely significant, especially as we cap it off with greater adventures that we’re excited to share about soon and plenty of champagne! 🍾

Being Intentional about 5 Things Daily to keep the joy flowing, & anxiousness at bay!
1. Prayer - Trying to start my day first thing with prayer time. Sometimes saying good morning to Tay happens first 😉, but I feel a difference when I ask God to be a part of my day!
2. Waking up earlier than I really want to, to be sure that I can prioritize time for me & to make sure my body gets to move! My alarm clock is set for 5:15am tomorrow- so this is me asking for accountability! 😬
3. Daily Vitamins/Supplements (I don’t do many, because I believe we can eat lots of what we need, but making sure I stay consistent!)
4. Batch Working! This is going to be my game changer in work this year, I believe it! 🙏
5. Counting my blessings, focusing on at least 3 things I’m grateful for. Praises for the day! 🙌
This week I’ve slowly worked my way back into a daily routine after the holidays. As I shared recently, anxiousness was something I was wrestling with. These are 5 things I’ve been extra intentional about that are inviting to joy and peace- yes, even the vitamins/supplements! 😉
Any small intentional steps you’ve been making that help you through your day?!

Goals: Mermaid Hair. 🧜♀️ This was always my goal for my wedding day, like seriously… I would never let my girlfriend who does my hair even trim it. Horrible, I know. But I had to have mermaid hair. The wedding has come and gone, but my goals are still the same. Adding one extra step to my morning vitamin and supplement routine, @nutrafol is my new hair health hero. Clinically-tested, medical grade botanical ingredients is a holistic approach to healthy hair growth + with ingredients like Ashwagandha, curcumin, and marine collagen I'm benefiting all across the board: anti-aging, healthy skin, anti-inflammatory, boosted energy…and like I said, Mermaid hair!! Use my code TENLEY20 to get $20 off your first month of Nutrafol!

Back home. Back to my beachy life. But sooo very far off from the routine I had hoped to kick the New Year off with. Anyone else?
I’ve had those anxious butterflies all day of where do I begin now that I’m home, as I had great intentions for this new year ahead but haven’t even started. I shared this in my stories too, and my realization was its only day 4 out of 365 days. My intentions and goals are for me, no one else, so I need to just stay in my lane, and go 1 day at a time!
It’s very easy to compare myself to everyone else’s inspiring Instagram posts, & feel behind. But I’m intentionally switching gears in my head and using it all for motivation and extra inspiration.
Shoutout to anyone else feeling a little bit of this pressure! I’ve got this, and so do you! I’m choosing 1 thing to conquer today that will help me get to where I’m going: responding to emails. 🤪😂 I know it’s Friday, but what are you starting with?

“See you later Aligator...” this sweet little munchkin, just short of a 18 months says this phrase in the sweetest way. Before she went down for her nap today we said our “see you laters”. (I’m going to have to get it on video to share the sweet way she says it. I did post my mom & I saying it in my stories which definitely isn’t as cute, but you get the picture 😉)
Time up here in Oregon, visiting my family always zips by. This was even our longest visit home, & each day was filled, and lots of memories made. We didn’t get to catch up with all of our friends, but I loved knowing they’re near when I’m in town.
It’s always bittersweet as I hug my family, & this sweet girl and head back to California, but it will be good to get back home and into the rhythm of life. I feel like I haven’t even begun all that is ahead for this New Year, & I’m getting excited to get things going!!
So long for now Oregon, and my sweet family and friends!! 😘

My own Bachelor Winter Games! 😉
Today was my best day on the mountain ever!!! The conditions were perfect, blue skies, and the view of all of the surrounding mountains from Mt. Bachelor, and of course the most patient man ever.
I’ve given snowboarding some pretty good shots, but this year will be the year it clicks! (That’s my plan!) After today, I’m feeling like I’m off to a pretty great start! Now we just need to get that next mountain trip in the books!! Recommendations are always welcome! 👌Hoping to be back to Bend & Mt. Bachelor soon too!

2018 was our biggest year yet. All of my dreams came true... getting engaged, married, & beginning to build our life together. 💑
2019 wont be short of adventures, and the part I love most is that this whole year ahead of us begins together!
Happy New Year my friends!!

To set resolutions or not to set resolutions? That’s my question! Which one are you?!
To be honest, I’ve been the most productive with setting a word for the new year & setting goals, which I guess is similar. 🤷♀️But Resolutions haven’t always been the most appealing to me for some reason... so yeah, to set them or to not? What do you do??
