While it's looking like we'll fall just short of my goal of 2 million with this #dropshipping store, we made huge leaps from the year before. Not just revenue-wise, but in terms of stability.
The more stores I open and the more ads I run, the more I've come to realise one thing. The most important thing you want when you have an online store is consistent, stable revenue coming in.
As discussed on my YouTube channel, in March of 2017 I found my first winning product for a store and grossed:
Feb - 180K
March - 393K
April - 114K
And slowly but surely the product died. And I actually didn't make any net profit until about August that year 2017.
If you look at the graph for this year, there is a large spike during the year and it might look like we peaked once in the year like we did in 2017.
This peak was actually when we scaled a product. We actually got to spending 15K a day on ads for this product and grossed 33K/day at our peak.
So while the graph peaks substantially in the middle, overall you'll see that the monthly revenue was STABLE this year and never dropped dramatically like it did in 2017.
Again, this is the most important thing with your ecommerce store, no matter how it runs. #aliexpress dropshipping, #privatelabel, whether you're running on #shopify or #commercehq or #woocommerce - it's all the same.
You want consistent stable revenue. Not one-off winners all the time.
