Hmm...FORESHADOWING MUCH WITH THE WHITE DRESS!?!? 🤔👰🏻 The picture from 2008 is the VERY FIRST picture I ever took with @samlivits. This was like a couple months after he started tutoring me in Finance. We were at some type of “Student of the Year” awards ceremony where we were honored with...I don’t even remember because I was too distracted with my new crush! ❤️
The picture on the right is from October 6th, 2018...when we got MARRIED 10 years later!!!
Sam and I have grown through so much together. He was there when I designed my first yoga bag in college...now we run an entire activewear business called @popflex_active. He filmed my first ever POP Pilates YouTube video...now we certify instructors so they can teach their own @poppilatesofficial class! For our first vacation, he brought me to NYC🚦when we were just young kids fresh out of college...now we fly there all the time for work like it’s no big deal (but it totally is)!
Those are the good things. We’ve been through plenty bad as well - things that ripped us apart...but eventually bonded us even tighter.
I spent like 4 hours sifting through photos and it brought back so many memories. It’s weird to see photos of people who used to be in my life every single day...that no longer are. Sometimes tough choices have to be made. And you just have to accept it, and move on. Because life goes on. But every experience or challenge I have endured has brought me to exactly where I am today, and for that, I am so so grateful. 🙏 #10yearchallenge#blogilates#enchantedoasis
True Love Tuesday Laura, a Senior Accountant from Carrickfergus and Jacob an Air Traffic Controller from Edinburgh met in halls at University in Sterling and were together for 7 years before Jacob popped the question. “We headed for a night out together in Sterling and the rest is history”. On 17th June 2018, Laura and Jacob got married in Larchfield Estate Lisburn and enjoyed an outside wedding surrounded by the most gorgeous scenery on a beautiful summers day. Laura describes the wedding ceremony as her highlight of the day “The ceremony for me was better than I ever imagined” and walking through the grounds with her new husband having their pictures taken “Take me back now!”. The wedding proposal involved their friends and Jacob put his own twist on it, Jacob sent Laura on a treasure hunt around Edinburgh, with each one of their friends at a different stop to hand Laura a clue. The final stop was Longinddry beach a place special to both of them where Jacob proposed. Laura’s immediate reaction was “Did you ask my Dad” and then of course she said YES. The ring was a single diamond with a twisted band, which Laura fell in love with. Later that evening Laura and Jacob celebrated back at their flat with friends and were eager to get planning the big day.
The picture in the left is from my wedding, so it is actually 10 years and 2 months... technically 10 years ;) Vs today! La foto en la izquierda es de hace 10 años y 2 meses, técnicamente 10 años atrás Vs hoy! 😉🤪 #lotsoflaughs#funride
