That inside-outside thing.
I am desperately trying to cling on to the fact the days are getting longer, that the bulbs are coming up, that there are some things in bloom. But January’s cold snap is still biting. I’m fed up of being cold and wearing jumpers, of relying on Olbas oil and everyone being a bit cross on buses that rattle through the dark at rush hour. So there’s lots of inside on the grid at the moment, because that’s mostly where I am, and I feel very lucky to have a good view of outside. Spring will feel all the better earned for having come after the gloom.
