  • I’d rather be back exploring the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. . . Some of the most epic cliff sides I’ve ever seen. . . I’m excited to be leaving on another adventure tomorrow to the St. Louis area. I’ve been in one spot for too long. . . Part of the reason I love to travel is it just revives my soul, it makes me feel alive, my brain is processing all these new things and I can feel myself growing spiritually and mentally, and all the little worries I left behind seem insignificant. . . I love being at home with my kitten and my creature comforts, but I need to be exploring and expanding my mind just as much. Too much time in one place makes my mind get lazy and turn inward I think, and I end up focusing on the wrong things. . . But when you walk up to a view like this, you realize what really is important to you. And for me, right now, it’s my love affair with creating the most out of the life I’ve been given, and capturing as much of it as I can. 📸💕

  • Waiting for the thunderstorm at the beautiful Giant's Causeway 🤩 . The Giant's Causeway is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic fissure eruption. 🙂 It is located in County Antrim on the north coast of Northern Ireland, about three miles northeast of the town of Bushmills. . According to legend, the columns are the remains of a causeway built by a giant. The story goes that the Irish giant Fionn mac Cumhaill (Finn MacCool), from the Fenian Cycle of Gaelic mythology, was challenged to a fight by the Scottish giant Benandonner.😁 Fionn accepted the challenge and built the causeway across the North Channel so that the two giants could meet. In one version of the story, Fionn defeats Benandonner. In another, Fionn hides from Benandonner when he realises that his foe is much bigger than he is. Fionn's wife, Oonagh, disguises Fionn as a baby and tucks him in a cradle. When Benandonner sees the size of the 'baby', he reckons that its father, Fionn, must be a giant among giants. He flees back to Scotland in fright, destroying the causeway behind him so that Fionn would be unable to chase him down. 🏛️ Across the sea, there are identical basalt columns (a part of the same ancient lava flow) at Fingal's Cave on the Scottish isle of Staffa, and it is possible that the story was influenced by this. 🏞️ . #giantscauseway #wildatlanticway #antrim #northernireland #uk #ireland #irlanda #irland #beautifulireland #marvelatireland #visitireland #travelireland #exploreireland #tourismireland #insta_ireland #instaireland #bestirelandpics #thefullirish_

  • 🇬🇧 Recently, we have been told how brave we are quite a lot of times. This was quite a funny thing to hear, as we have never felt like brave people (especially Federico). We are scared of the future, we are scared of needles (Federico, again), we are terrified by climate change and plastic pollution. There's a long list of things of which it is reasonable to be scared of. However, the thing that scares us the most is to go with the flow of what someone else decided is a "normal" life and, at some point, look back at our past with regret for not doing what felt right. In comparison, saving some money to spend some months hanging around in South America, doesn't sound like that big of a deal! So here we are, -14 days! . . #travel #backpacking #longtermtravel #travelcouple #sustainabletravel #neverstopexploring #travelireland #throwback #roadtrip #intentioalliving #simpleliving #dinglepeninsula

  • One of the only two round towers in Ireland that people may climb. I, of course, did. It’s 30 meters high with beautiful views of Kilkenny.
