  • I remember standing in our bathroom with the shower running to mute my tears, staring at myself in the mirror thinking WHAT is wrong with you?! 😭⠀ ⠀ I was 3 months postpartum and struggling to find any peace or joy in my new “life”. 💔⠀ ⠀ My days were filled with trying to be everything for everyone, and when I wasn’t doing everything, I was worrying about it. Am I juggling it all good enough?! I was exhausted, guilt ridden and couldn’t look at myself without crying. As I took off my maternity dress pants that night, I knew I couldn’t continue down the same path much longer. I was ready to crumble. Please don’t be so busy taking care of everybody else that you forget to take care of yourself! 💜⠀ ⠀ Your spouse, your kids, your friends, your boss and employees are going to enjoy you SO much more if you are energetic, joyful, full of life and confident. ⠀ ⠀ Not if you give them that little bit more of your time, but you’re mad, you’re sad, you’re uncomfortable, miserable and exhausted! ⠀ ⠀ Fill your own cup so you can pour into others.   • WHO JUST REGISTERED TO GET CERTIFIED TO TEACH @transformsteplive IN GROUP FITNESS CLASSES?! THIS GIRL!👆🏻🙌🏻 . 2 years ago T H I S G I R L👆🏻 never would’ve even considered getting in front of a room full of people to teach a group fitness class because of the fear of screwing up in front of everyone and lack of confidence. Today, I just signed up to get certified in a 2nd group fitness format so that I can teach @transformsteplive in surrounding gyms! 💚💪🏻 . Transformation beyond a number on the scale is SO INCREDIBLE. I think the greatest part about my journey over the past 2 years is looking back to where I started and being PROUD of the growth, confidence and bravery I’ve acquired. It’s the things that I’ve that I’ve gained on the inside and opportunities I’ve gone after that a scale could never tell me... it’s what I’ve had to dig out of myself by going through the hard times and put in the work to come out stronger than I could have ever imagined. . Be proud of where you started. Be proud of where you are.   • | 6 months ago, these pants didn’t fit. neither did this top. i would take 30+ pictures every time, just to try and get a flattering angle. i remember crying to Matt, so frustrated, so hopeless and honestly unsure if i would ever lose the weight or feel comfortable in my skin again. but holy moly... i’m freakin’ doing it😭🙌🏼 . . it hasn’t happened overnight. in fact, it’s taken SIX MONTHS of consistent workouts. six months of failing forward, drinking that margarita when i want one, living my life, ENJOYING my life and then always waking up and starting fresh. it’s been six months of learning to become a morning person, so that i can fill my own cup before my kids wake up and need me. lifting heavier weights than i ever thought i could. six months of pushing when i wanted to give up. just resting, instead of quitting this time. proving to myself just how strong i actually am. finding freedom mentally and emotionally. in just six months, my life looks vastly different. . i’ve still got a long way to go... but the reality is, we never actually arrive, y’all — i will forever be on this journey. and that’s okay!! one foot in front of the other, fighting for health, for balance, for peace. it’s no longer about a number on the scale — i literally do this for my sanity❤️ . . but i wouldn’t be where i am, if i hadn’t taken that first step. we ALL start somewhere, friends. it doesn’t matter when... it just matters that we DO. i think back to how close i was to walking away — and how i could be standing here today, STILL STUCK in the same place i was 6 months ago, with nothing changed or different and i want to just weep. . . i am SO DAMN GRATEFUL i said yes. yes to taking care of myself. yes to gaining health and strength. yes to the community of people rallying around me, full of encouragement. it was time. and for some of you, it’s time, too. if you’re ready to take the leap, i’m ready to help — you are worth it, lady.   • This week's blog is about changing our way of thinking to change our body, enhance health and quality of life. Taking the focus away from on dieting and restricting, but instead on motivating and exciting you. One of my tips when setting weight loss goals is to ask yourself WHY you want to lose weight. I personally respect someones wish if they want to lose weight, I just believe we need to do it in the right way and for the right reasons. Weight loss is often just a vehicle to what you truly desire. Your reason for losing weight may be that you’ll feel more attractive, you’ll have more energy or you’ll be more confident. Identify the why, instead of focusing on the weight loss itself. Focus on what you want to achieve. Do you want to be more happy or healthy or feel more sexy?   • "Children are not a excuse. They are a reason." . Comment below 👇 if you agree. . I have 4 reasons; Leah, Emma, Andrew and Ava. Being post partum for the 4th time really took a toll on me physically and emotionally. I had gained weight and was the heaviest I had ever been; heavier than the heaviest I had been while pregnant. 😳 I was tired and mothering 4 littles (each 28 months or less apart) drained me emotionally and physically. . There is a point in your life when you simply can not continue with the way things are. That time came to me just about three years ago. I knew that if I wanted something different for myself and my family, I would have to change what I was doing. . I decided to be more intentional about my health (fintess and nutrition), my spiritual life (daily devotionals and personal development) and who I would surround myself with. By the God's grace I have seen amazing transformation. Most importantly the transformation that has taken place in my head and in my heart. . I am so excited that I get to pass along these life lessons to my sweet kiddos, praying that they will not be held back by the same doubts, fears and limiting beliefs that kept me from doing some great things earlier on in life. I have no regrets and I hold no resentment, because I believe it is all falling into place with God's timing just as it was meant to be. .   • Why do people think someone is weird when they talk to themselves???🤔🤔🤔 . Like let's be HONEST... We ALL talk to ourselves whether we want to admit it or not. It's not weird!! It's NORMAL - It's "self talk." We self talk to motivated ourselves, to help us through difficult situations, and to even help us find those darn keys! . "Hmmm.. Where did I put those keys again?" . Sound familiar?? 😂😂😜😜 . But I think the BIGGEST struggle we go through is that innner voice that shrouds our mind with NEGATIVITY. . I know you've experienced it... Cuz I've experienced it numerous times! . "You're not good enough." "You can't do that." "That's impossible for you." "You're not worth it." "You look horrible." "Man why am I so fat?" "You don't deserve that." Etc. Etc. Etc. . Guess what? All those examples are REAL negative thoughts I've honestly told myself... Some of them just LAST WEEK! . One of the biggest reasons I'm on my journey is to SILENCE that negative voice. My goal for the next 6 months is to try a little bit harder to cut out that negativity and allow my TRUE and POSITIVE inner thoughts to blossom and take over my mind. . I'm so glad that this new program I'm doing challenges me to track my thoughts, challenges, and progress in a journal. It's one step closer to internalizing my journey and TRANSFORMING my MIND and SPIRIT to something more. . It's hecka hard but it's worth it. I know I'm worth. I just need to allow that positivity to be more prevalent in my mind and life each day. . How are you TRANSFORMING your life today?   • Don’t quit. Don’t quit. Don’t quit. I think I probably recited those words 100 times during my workout tonight. Not to mention I didn’t get out to my gym until almost 10 pm. I didn’t want to show up. But I have committed, and when you tend to skip it starts the train of falling off. What I’ve learned throughout my journey is that there are going to be good days and bad days, and on those days when we are struggling that is when we need to keep fighting. Strength comes from overcoming obstacles and pushing ourselves out of our comfort zone. So if you have started something new, KNOW that the struggle is part of the process. The start is hardest, the most clunky-but you will get into a routine and you are going to crush it! The main thing is- YOU have to trust and believe in yourself. Having don’t in yourself is only going to slow the process down. So repeat after me; “I BELIEVE IN MYSELF, I WILL NOT QUIT!” #livetoday #trustandbelieve #getitgirl #buildyourempire #struggleispartofthejourney

Your burning need may not be your neighbors. Your transformation will be 100% unique to you. I do not have a single solution to every transformation journey. I do, however, have a toolbox of options for at least the latter four. I’m not asking for your journey to look like mine. I’m asking you to say “Yes” and START the process of your own transformation. Don’t stay stuck. Start writing your own story, NOW! And sometimes, you just need someone else to have a little confidence in you so that you can believe it yourself. I know I did.

  • Week 2 - Faster w/10 Minute Abs "Think fast and you'll move faster." Nothing like going from no sleep to 2 hours sleep, awake to eating, eating to work out, and 100 to 150 mph in your workout. Aptly named Faster, this workout is just that a non stop, pedal to the medal, feel the fricken burn ass kicker from start to finish. Not going to lie. I woke up after my two hour nap in a very negative place. Don't know why exactly but I'm contributing it to the lack of sleep. If you were watching it you could see the struggle. For most of the workout I fought with myself to push beyond my limits. I wanted to make every excuse in the book to quit and I did quit multiple times. However, it was during these times that I dug deeper and in to my inner strength and got back to work. The moments of weakness only lasted for a few seconds each time but was a reminder that I still have a lot of work to "conquer my mind, so I can transform my life." The good news? I didn't stay down I got right back up and kept going. By time I hit 10 Minute Abs, I was in a better space and ready to go full throttle.   • Throwing it back to 9 months to ago when I knew I was pregnant with #4 but I was doing my best to stay fit and active as I finished #80dayobsession I was in the best shape of my life starting into my 4th pregnancy. . Now that I’m 2 months postpartum and still don’t look close to resembling any 3 of these pictures, I can tell you this... . 1) consistency matters...doing the simple things {sometimes hard to do things} over and over again makes a big difference over time ❄️ 2) there will NEVER be the perfect time to start your journey because life always throws curve balls so just start 💪 and give yourself grace along the way 3) you can’t hate yourself skinny... I feel confident that I will feel amazing again in my body...this amazing body of mine that has birthed 4 beautiful babes!!! Give yourself some love 💗 . And he’s going to straight up KICK MY ASS.... And I will still always thank him for it. ▫️ 20 minutes to start my day. 20 minutes to break a sweat. 20 minutes to swear and pray and burn and push. 20 minutes to change my life. ▫️ ▫️ Yup... it’s worth it.

  • Let’s be real. Life is hard. Workouts are hard. Getting up early is hard. Eating right is hard. Drinking enough water is hard. Not quitting is hard. It is all hard!!! Doing this mom thing everyday, Hands down harder than all that I just mentioned.... But is it really hard ? Or is that just our perception or is that what we tell ourselves???? I know sometimes it feels hard (trust me I feel it too. These twin boys have me all kinds of crazy) but let’s try flipping that script and say to ourselves, “we are lucky we have this opportunity” and stop dwelling in the self pity and the overwhelmed feelings. Let’s change it and focus on what WE CAN DO!! Cheer ourselves on with I’ve got this. It may feel hard but IVE GOT THIS!! YOU’VE GOT THIS😘 Today’s workout was hard. That booty day was hard but I didn’t die!!! I’ve got this!!💪🏼
