“How much money do you make with photography?” I get asked this question a lot. Frankly, only some people are lucky that the thing they love, they’re also good at and are able to make a living out of it. But for me is a bit complex. Throughout my life, there have been days that I was super rich, and some days that I had nothing in my pocket. Back in 2008 I decided to leave my job, although I was getting paid well and more than that. But I wasn’t happy doing it. I decided to do what I really was passionate about, which was photography. I worked hard, I was patient, even I was very poor sometimes, but all was ok. I did what I really wanted to do. I really think all of those hard days and hard work, brought me up and shaped me, who I am today as a person. So I believe life is not all about money, it’s more about happiness and that hopefully will yield in a better future for us. I hope I have answered the question. Whisking you all a great weekend 😘. Btw What makes you happy in life?
Second Sunday After Epiphany
Epistle of Saint Paul to the Romans: “Brethren: having different gifts, according to the grace that is given us, either prophecy, to be used according to the rule of faith; Or ministry, in ministering; or he that teacheth, in doctrine; He that exhorteth, in exhorting; he that giveth, with simplicity; he that ruleth, with carefulness; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. Let love be without dissimulation. Hating that which is evil, cleaving to that which is good. Loving one another with the charity of brotherhood, with honour preventing one another.
In carefulness not slothful. In spirit fervent. Serving the Lord. Rejoicing in hope. Patient in tribulation. Instant in prayer. Communicating to the necessities of the saints. Pursuing hospitality. Bless them that persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with them that rejoice; weep with them that weep.Being of one mind one towards another. Not minding high things, but consenting to the humble.”
-Romans 12. 6-16
