With vulnerability comes growth.

My son has his first assembly this week and asked if he could skip school that day because he's afraid. I said I understood and told him about a time when I forgot a line in a school play and went running off stage. I told him who cares, no one cared but me, and that I wish I realized that back then, but we need to go through these things in order to learn and grow. I said wouldn't it be so much easier if we just knew this all when we were little? He just smiled and shook his head and then laughed and repeated, "who cares." We both then laughed uncontrollably. Man do I love that little boy. 🖤
Green is something I really start to thirst for at this time of year. 🌿 These zebra serpentine fringe earrings bring a taste of spring into your life! [Update: Sold] This is the second pair of earrings I've made with this fringe style. I love how dangly and sparkly they are! What do you think? If you go to my story, you can see them in motion. ✨
Seattle folks!! Are you doing anything tomorrow evening? If not, I highly recommend swinging through Ballard Night Out and taking in some rad art, particularly the zodiac themed show Star Crossed at @pushpullseattle ! I can't go myself, unfortunately, but I do have a piece in the show that I'm pretty heckin' happy with. Here's a sneak peek, since I didn't take a picture of the whole thing that I'm totally happy with. Also: MYSTERY.

One of the most deeply gratifying projects we have ever embarked upon was creating a new lobby for our Seattle headquarters with our facilities and creative studio departments last year. Our compatriot Zach Rockstad @zacher1 (who we knew as a signpainter but also saw had expressionist abilities) embarked on this photo-real brush-painted 40’ x 15’ depiction of our coffee farm in Costa Rica. The photo it’s based on was by our resident photojournalist @joshtrujillo and it married with real plants and a terraced seating area designed by our own @eeveeluz . It took six weeks of long nights, and help from friends but now we have a lush coffee farm as the welcome to our building. We hope you all can visit us one day soon.
