Coco (or Coco Caramel Latte, as we call her) is ready to find her forever home!! Coco has many loves: playing with other dogs, napping on the couch, food of any kind, going for walks, napping on the rug, exploring and playing, treats, and napping while cuddled as close as possible. Coco is a little shy when first meeting people, and big tall men can be especially intimidating, but once she knows she can trust you, she is ALL snuggles and wants nothing more than to bring you a toy to play tug, show off her 'sit', or curl up for a snuggle while you watch TV - like really, get ready for the closest snuggles of your life, more like smothers!
Coco is about 99% perfect amazing doggo, and only 1% of her is still in the mischievous puppyhood stage. She is GREAT at listening and only needs a little practice and guidance to be 100%! She is crate-trained, rides in the car like a champ, and walks great on a harness. She'll do just about anything for food! She loves eating out of her puzzle feeder and has potential to learn all the awesome tricks you can teach her! And seriously she LOVES other dogs so you better be ready for lots of adorable wrestling and cuddling with your own pups, or have friends with dogs that she can have play dates with! She has been practicing her manners around the resident chickens, and she has shown potential to live with cats too. Coco is currently staying warm in a foster home.
If you want to learn more about Coco and pet her squishy face in real life, email her foster mom at [email protected]
“It’s Thursday thoughts - squirrels 🐿 - Mamme said that in the UK there are two types of squirrels. Red squirrels and grey squirrels. There used to be around £3.5m red squirrels in the UK back in 1870s. Now only around 120k.
Red squirrels are the native squirrels 🐿 in the UK. The red squirrel is officially classed as Near Threatened in the UK.
The main cause behind their decline is the introduction of grey squirrels from America. The grey squirrels carries a disease which does not appear to affect their health but often kills red squirrels.
They also compete for food with the red squirrels.
You can still see them in Scotland, Northumberland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Lake District.
Mamme, can we go to the Lake District please?🐿🐿🥰” Jessie

Walks with friends.
@dogcalledmabel did her longest walk yet from Edale in the High Peak when we met up with @jamessedup who we met one year ago in Thailand at the Elephant Nature Park; which is also where we met Mabel and subsequently adopted her from! And so reunited, one year on, we trekked through fog and biting winds, climbed down a riverbed and found ourselves these views!
Say hello to our sweet Bessie! She is a Pit Bull Terrier, ~50lbs and 10 years of age. She is house trained and ready for a loving home. Although Bessie is great with humans, she will need to be the only animal in the house as she does not do well with other animals. She loves to cuddle and snuggle into blankets. She hopes someone will give her a chance for a forever home soon!
🐾Day 5💕The girls are doing great & finally starting to explore the yard. They found these crinkly, things 🍁 & Pine Cones to play with. Marble began searching for a spot to potty instead of leaving 💩 on the deck.. Oreo is coming along with finding her space as well. They like to play with each other & are learning how to communicate when it gets a little too rough. Still loving their nap times with foster Mom 🙌🏻 Marley (kinda) likes when they hang outside with him. I think it makes him feel like a Dad 🐕

One of the last dog training sessions...and this time at the ocean front! My fingers might have frozen off, but hopefully Baylee learned something!🌬🐶
Hey World, Last night we said good-bye to our almost 13-year-old Rescued Shih-Tzu named Wiggles.
Wiggles had his third CHF (congestive heart failure) event in the last 13 days.
Last night, Wiggles was rushed to the emergency Vet and we were told that it was time to let him go,
We sadly did at 1 AM this morning.
We rescued Wiggles when he was 10 years old; he was our first Shih-Tzu.
He immediately stole our hearts and we planned our daily activities around Wiggles, it was so much fun.
People have asked us if we regret rescuing a senior dog because of the pain we feel today.
Our answer is a resounding "No Regrets". We would not trade the 29 months of happiness Wiggles brought us for anything, and we look forward to adopting another senior dog soon.
We miss you Wiggles
We will always love you Wiggles.
Thank you for all the good you brought into our lives.
Your pawrents, (Lynda & Frank)
