  • Want to know the real difference between these 2 photos? Life. Literally life and real happiness. . I remember over a year ago in the photo on the left thinking how good I looked and how happy I was because I was tiny. Everyone kept telling me how good I looked from losing so much weight. But I was the farthest thing from healthy. . That photo on the left was taken maybe just a couple weeks after attempting to take my own life. I was 21 years old and if you saw me out youd say I looked happy or that I have a nice smile. I had an eating disorder and had no idea what happiness felt like. I mean that quite literally I remember talking to someone close to me and telling them I had no idea how it felt to be happy. I was just numb to the world. And although everyone thought I was at my healthiest and happiest lol hell nah. . Today I am the healthiest I have ever been! I dont get comments about how tiny I am because society makes us believe that determines a womans health and happiness. But that's not it at all! It took 6 months to get help after my 'bad day' and it was the best choice I have ever made. I finally decided I deserved to be happy and to live my life. If I didnt I most likely wouldn't be here. How you look should not take over your mind every day. I have learned to love myself and my body and I actually know what happiness is. . Please be supportive of everyone in your life as much as possible. Even people that you think have their life together. Health and happiness looks different on every one. We all need support dont be ashamed to get help. We all need help. You deserve happiness. You deserve peace. You deserve support. You are worthy and enough. You deserve to live.

  • OH MY CHEESE I honestly thought I was going to puke before this set. 🧀 Thank you to my hype woman @baby_hulk1 for always checking my form & making sure I finish strong. 🙏🏼❤️ Fun fact: I use to HATE squats with a passion, but this yeah I’ve surprisingly been able to tolerate the lift with less loathing. 🤔 Now I’m just waiting for the same to happen with volume b/c tbh I don’t think my hate will ever change. 😭☹️ . . . @deku.83kg highbar squats 245 x 8 Also tomorrow @daniel.d.ko and I are going on a CRUISEEEEEEE AHHHHH 😆🛳 I am so FLUBBIN excited because I’ve never been on one before! 😄🐳 Thank you my honey for planning it all. 🥰 Can’t wait to post pictures of the trip and hopefully not of me puking my brains out. 🤮 (jk I don’t know if I get seasick but packing Dramamine just in case 👍🏼💊)

  • 3 months ago I started training with Joe and said🤔 "I can't get past the plateau of squatting 50kg I'd love to squat my body weight" - 3 months later and I hit 80kg that's 21kg over my body weight goal!🙈🧡 You see my goal goes so much further that aesthetics✨Last year a dexta scan showed I had osteopenia and on the road to early osteoporosis 😣 so it was time to stop body weight smashing myself and start lifting the heavy shit to increase my bone density!💪🏻 I now feel strong, sturdy & most importantly healthy! 😊Can't wait to get my next dexta and see how my bone density has improved!! Thanks so much for all of your support and knowledge @joedavis_fitnesscoach 🤓🙏🏻🧡

  • This was my best lift of my training block before my meet. There’s SO much wrong with it... but somehow I moved all 625lb of it. | | I’m excited to learn how to tap into this potential I seem to have. It means being humbled by trying new things and going back to the basics. Frankly, I am most excited by this aspect of it... the learning. I am not motivated by PRs, totals, medals... none of it. This sport is a tool to push myself to be the best version of me I can be. Those things come as a result of conquering myself. Not the other way around. | | Lifting has become such a deep spiritual experience and I am obsessed with getting a deeper understanding of that feeling. The world just stops when I approach that barbell. I am fully present yet paradoxically outside of my conscious self. By working on mastering this sport, I work on mastering myself. Mind, body and spirit. | | I am so blessed to have a team behind me that believes in me. I have an amazing coach @stanley.murkland who is very patiently walking me through this journey. I have a next level nutritionist @body_by_bobby who is teaching me to be a real athlete outside of the weight room. And I have a whole squad of family and friends that want me to succeed as bad as I want to. I’ll make you proud guys... promise. | | This is the start of something so big. I am enjoying every moment of the process. Time to learn, time to grow, stay forever humble and fuckin get after it.
