Sensitive people should be treasured. They love deeply and think deeply about life. They are loyal, honest, and true. The simple things sometimes mean the most to them. They don’t need to change or harden. Their purity makes them who they are #sensitive
Newport mentions that our work culture’s shift toward the shallow (whether you think it’s philosophically good or bad) is exposing a massive economic and personal opportunity for the few who recognize the potential of resisting this trend and prioritizing depth. As technology progresses, the need for people to learn and gain hard skills is growing. This book teaches you the tools to learn better and faster. I don't usually post jokes, but this one is pretty good. Bill Gates get $114 per second, it is not close to a lamborghini in 10 seconds, but it is impressive indeed.

I have taken notice that I'm falling back into the same negative nelly attitude and its buggin' the ever loving shit out a me! I've been reading my posts from last year and for the first time in a long time I was actually happy. I was happy with me, with all the wonderful changes i was making.I worked so hard when I decided to change my life, I worked hard at not only holding myself accountable for what I was putting in this beautiful strong body of mine but I was also paying very close attention to my thoughts and feelings and the vibes I was casting out in the world. I had finally taken the reigns back and I was so proud of an accomplishment I thought for sure would never come to pass. I'm not sure what happened, Maybe it was the sudden and heartbreaking passing of my granny. Mabey it was the move. Who knows. Who cares. Thoughts can and will take over your every mood if you don't stop that train at the station and redirect on a positive track. Im paying close attention to my thoughts again, not letting them dampen my mood ( or anyone else's for that matter) or ruin a perfectly great day. I'm in charge! 😊
Reading a book a week #selfimprovement 🧠 many books I’ve read over the years, but I read them without intention and being fully present. This time, I’m slowing down and being more mindful while I read #becomingmybestself

Still, his inquiry is significant. He did not want a compromise between the cousins and brothers, and he wanted to be sure of the fate
of his sons on the battlefield. Because the battle was arranged to be fought at Kuruksetra, which is mentioned elsewhere in the Vedas as a place of worship--even for the denizens of heaven--Dhrtarastra became very fearful about the influence of the holy place on the outcome of the battle. He knew very well that this would influence Arjuna and the sons of Pandu favorably, because by nature they were all virtuous. Sanjaya was a student of Vyasa, and therefore, by the mercy of Vyasa, Sanjaya was able to envision the Battlefield of Kuruksetra even while he was in the room of Dhrtarastra. And so, Dhrtarastra asked him about the situation on the battlefield.
Both the Pandavas and the sons of Dhrtarastra belong to the same family, but Dhrtarastra's mind is disclosed herein. He deliberately claimed only his sons as Kurus, and he separated the sons of Pandu from the family heritage. One can thus understand the specific position of Dhrtarastra in his relationship with his nephews, the sons of Pandu. As in the paddy field the unnecessary plants are taken out, so it is expected from the very beginning of these topics that in the religious field of Kuruksetra where the father of religion, Sri Krsna, was present, the unwanted plants like Dhrtarastra's son Duryodhana and others would be wiped out and the thoroughly religious persons, headed by Yudhisthira, would be established by the Lord. This is the significance of the words dharma-ksetre and kuru-ksetre, apart from their historical and Vedic importance.
Tomorrow isn't coming quick enough! My sister @natinacolours chose both these beautiful crystals out for me today😍
With its calming energy, magnesite balances your emotions so that you can get in touch with your true feelings. This stone helps you to clear out old emotional patterns. With this stone in hand, relax your emotional body, and move into a more acceptable place.
Magnesite brings to the surface all forms of self deceit. It helps to recognise unconscious thoughts and feelings and be able to explore the reasons for these. It creates a positive attitude to life, it helps egotistical people to be able to take a back seat when necessary and teaches you how to actively listen to others. It relieves headaches, especially migraines and slows blood clotting.
Because it looks a lot like Turquoise, it’s often sold in the market as white Turquoise when it in fact is not a turquoise at all.
Pink Agate is a very calming and soothing stone that can dispel fear, and impart courage, energy and strength, traits which increase self-confidence.Agate crystals vibrate on a lower, more gentle frequency. There are many types of agate that provide different healing properties depending on their variety. In general though, agate healing properties are slow and steady. They aren’t as intense as crystals like clear quartz or selenite, but they radiate a soft strength to ground the spirit with a sense of stability. Agate properties connect with the energy of the Earth. They are thought to bring harmony to all aspects of the being, physical, spiritual and emotional. Using agate during times of unbalance, when it feels as if the yin and yang within you are operating out of proportion, can reintroduce an equilibrium to your tempered soul.
This is so important! I know I’ve personally avoided doing new things because I was afraid to look stupid or like I had no idea what I was doing! Here are a few things to keep in mind when approaching a new situation:
1. Everyone started somewhere! The person who might be amazing at the thing you want to try was bad at it once upon a time and had to get better too! .
2. To reference my quote yesterday nothing changes if nothing changes, if you don’t take those steps forward and push fear aside you’re not going to be any further ahead! .
3. No one who is a decent human being will laugh at you. Let’s take the gym for example, if you are new to the gym and afraid to go and try it and afraid to be ridiculed know that the gym is such a welcoming and supportive place! People who have frequented the gym love seeing new faces of people wanting to better themselves through exercise! .
Take that chance and don’t be afraid to do it wrong or just be bad at it! Don’t let fear cause you to miss an opportunity!
