Mając 2,5-miesięczną, a więc najdłuższą przerwę w podróżach od jakichś 2-3 lat, postanowiłam wracać wspomnieniami do poprzednich podróży. Jedna z najbardziej wymagających i najdłuższych ale też najpiękniejszych wypraw ➡️ Chile.
For the first time in my life, I'm actually looking forward to this new year. I'm not much of a person to set any sort of goals for new years but this year is different. I have set 2 new goals for myself in hopes of achieving them by the end of 2019.
After living in Orange County my entire life, I've been craving a change in scenery. I've noticed that every time that I am up in the mountains, I feel a sense of calmness in my body and I always feel that I belong there. I am happy to say that I have started the process of looking for a cabin in the mountains. I hope to find one in the perfect location so that I can renovate it into my dream home. I already got an early start in buying some chairs, dressers, a couch, a couple of bookshelves as well as quite a few paintings and other decorations. As you can tell, I'm a wee bit excited and anxious to find a cabin. And I'll definitely be needing some recommendations on where to get the best chains for my tires when the snow comes!
My second goal that I created for myself has been something I've had in the back of my mind since the 6th grade but never pursued. Back in the day I had to do a project on one of the missions in California, San Gabriel. Ever since then, I've had a fascination and have always wanted to visit each one. This year I will be visiting all 21 missions. I can't wait to explore all of the missions and gain more knowledge of each one!
What's your New Years resolution? I'd love to know!
