My ten year transformation:
On the left, a 22-year-old college senior. Smoking weed every day and getting black out drunk most nights. Never practiced yoga. Never meditated. Never did a handstand. Total douchebag.
On the right, a 32-year-old traveling yoga instructor. Sober, no drugs or alcohol. Spends 75% of the year on the road, sharing the practice with anyone and everyone. Rarely right-side-up, and never wears a shirt. Still kinda douchey.
our Self - images are fluctuating, impermanent, everchanging
our Self IS timeless, present, unchanging
our past, present, future is no-thing constant and does it, the 'it about' in our mind change with our perceiption
the more personal aware we are the different we see the world
the world that IS us in all that we sense, perceive, feel
what could once make us feel flattered can make us feel hurt in another moment in time
so what is true-
if every-thing, shape, situations, people, images, come and go?
truth is what remains, when the "false" is not
when our impermanent physical expression as well as our unchanging nature in our heart experiencially melt
any kind of relationship reveals a piece of this! our one conciousness play
for us to recognize the love that I AM ❤
