#beautifulcambodia and it‘s beautiful countryside here in Kampot.
Here are a few things we‘d recommend you during your visit in Kampot:
1. Visit the Bokor Mountain
2. Explore a Pepper plantation and make sure to take some pepper with you.
3. Rent a motor bike and explore the rural parts around Kampot.
4. Take a day trip to the coastal town Kep.
5. Plan with at least 3-4 nights in Kampot. It will absolutely be worth it.

Urbanization in Phnom Penh is surging ahead. Loads of cranes in the sky and new projects on the way. Let’s hope the this still relatively rural country copes with the change. I cant imagine this skyline staying this way for to much longer.
First meal in Phenom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. Maitake mushroom and ginger noodle soup in a dragon bowl! Served with a side of hot peppers and crushed garlic! #yum#dragonsinmysoup#phnompenh#cambodia
Street front in #PhnomPenh. The #streetscape in the #Cambodian capital is an engaging mix of the “Chinese shop-house” (tall, narrow apartments on top of a ground floor business) and #French colonial grandeur. Sweeping boulevards and ornate facades give parts of the city an eerily #European feeling, out of place amidst chaotic traffic, street vendors peddling insect snacks and crumbling sidewalks #madsea19#nnmsebabesia
What a treat to watch a specially commissioned performance by the Royal Ballet of Cambodia. Drama, attempted murder, Gods vying for the attention of the beautiful princess, jealous mothers, a baby appearing from nowhere, lost and found love. Fluid, precise and mesmerizing movements with beautifully elaborate Khmer bling. An opportunity to meet the dancers on stage afterwards. Mekong riverside, rooftop refreshments at the grand old Foreign Correspondent’s Club to follow. A very decent Saturday night indeed. #royalballetcambodia#apsara#chaktomukconferencehall#phnompenh#khmer#khmerculture
