Found a petition to bring back summer on @changedotorg, but it was some kid trying to push back his school-year start date. 🙃 Pfftttttt. I’m tryna bring back temperatures and weather I can do what I love most in! I miss the sunshine that hurts if you’re in it too long. 😭 It’s not that I don’t like winter (actually, it is). It’s just that I want more days of sunshine and shorts and less gray skies and -10 degree windchill anytime I step outside. 😅 Summer in Oregon is just pure magic. ✨ I know there has to be other places who don’t get as much rain or clouds. Where do you live? What’s your favorite season there and why?
Cold mornings at the lake mean we need a warm fire to keep us from freezing ⛄️🔥
Who nailed the pose better? 😏
1. @errincasa who literally looks like she’s on fire 🔥
2. @mddyelrck who said nahhhh to the fire and is chillin’ at the lake 😎
3. @thismattexists who’s going for some tall dark and handsome look 👀
4. @hraydenball (me) just being ssssss’keyooot while drinking tea hehe 🍵 (obviously me right)
winter adventures are a different kind of magic. sparkling snow, fresh animals tracks, snow capped mountains, having places completely yourself, the peacefulness and calmness. we love it so much. do you love winter adventures as much as the other seasons?
Do you remember Summer?
1. The warmest season of the year, in the northern hemisphere from June to August and in the southern hemisphere from December to February.
Yeah, that doesn’t sound familiar to me either, but I was going through some old images last night and found this one from a few months back. It’s from a time when I was wearing far fewer long pants and down coats. Maybe that was Summer. Anyway, it has me feeling optimistic about the future and I wanted to share the warmth.
Our most liked images of 2018! What a year it was! We took an epic 17 day summer road trip, truck camping through 13 states and Canadian provinces, tallying almost 7,000 miles. We camped in the Great Smoky Mountains, hiked to beautiful waterfalls and vistas around our home in Asheville, NC, and even found our way to the coast a couple of times.
We appreciate the follows, shares, and likes (15.8k) over the last year! We’re excited for 2019! We want to experience the Oregon Coast and plans are being made for a pretty big European trip! Stay tuned... #losethetrail#TopNine2018#roamtheplanet#neverstopexploring
