Say hello to Pluto 🤗 I don’t have flawless skin, I still break out and still have textured skin. It’s gotten a lot better than how it used to be but let me tell you guys this mask did wonders for me. I highly recommend this mask to everyone especially for those of you with acne prone skin because it actually does an amazing job at drying out pimples and reducing texture!!! This is not an ad and I’ve been in love with this mask for 2 years now and still haven’t found anything better! There’s some great tips to help |
Dim your lights | This sends your body a signal to wind down and go to bed. Add some relaxing music to help like the calm station on @spotify .
Shut Down Technology | Work on making it a habit to turn off all social media same time every night so you can recharge and start the next day anew.
Sip Tea | Warm beverages soothe the body. Chamomile and Peppermint are helpful choices.
Aromatherapy | Breathing in a relaxing essential oil can totally shift your head and heart space. Lavender, can help with symptoms of insomnia, try drops on wrist, temples and your pillow. .
Make an Oasis | Soft pillows, warm blankets, and a serene color scheme in your bedroom are well worth the investment. Your place of sleep should feel like an oasis.
Do Not Disturb | Put your phone on do not disturb so that you can have a good timeframe to wind down without interruption .
Book | Read something that will help calm and ease your mind , journaling your thoughts can help too.
Whatever you choose to wind down, choose you. You give your best and most of you to others during the day. Take a few hours at night, for yourself to place your mind and body in a calm mode ready to have a goodnight sleep to recharge...

Got to talk about a nighttime routine in my accountability group today.
I think it’s a given most of us know we need good sleep, but do you know all the ways good sleep actually effects us?!
So after my group learned about some hard facts about good sleep I asked them about their current routine and how they would like to change it.
I myself would like to stick to being in bed by 9 pm. Usually the only thing preventing me from this goal is my night owl toddler 🤪
My other nighttime routine goal is not using my phone when I’m in bed. We are learning more and more how just being on your phone can effect our sleep and this is an area I’d like to improve in! But tonight this guy, my very first baby, decided to cuddle right up next to me because he heard a scary noise. So I’m making an exception and pulling my phone out to snap this picture.

Yup... I slept in this morning bc quite honestly, it wasn't happening.
But I DON'T miss days on these programs! Not unless my body literally gives out!
AND I got home from work before 7pm... So I got my workout in all before 8pm!!
And my hubs cooked dinner, so what a perfect night this is!

Real Talk...Dark Circles 👀
It IS a thing and happened to me soon after I had kids 👫...lack of sleep, stress and hormonal changes and so on. I sleep late even now ( #fomo ) and wake up pretty early because #kids
What are some things you do to help reduce the appearance of dark circles? I recently tried @viicodebeauty oxygen eye mask all night repair. All you do is place it under your eyes and sleep with it - I've been using this for a couple weeks now and I've seen a dramatic difference in the morning. It reduces puffiness, dullness, and darkness and it is super hydrating! Definitely check it out and let me know what you think!

I’ve said it so many times already but out of all Caudalie products, the Vinoperfect is my absolute favorite and I owe the serum and toner and essence for solving a lot of my skin issues. The line is powered by viniferine, an ingredient derived from grapevine sap and rivals the power of vitamin C. Using the combination of the essence and the radiance serum has seriously helped so much with my hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, and overall brightening up my skin. They used to have an overnight cream in this line but discontinued it so now I’m excited they’re back with an even better product! It’s got the same smell as the radiance serum but much thicker in texture. The vegetal butylene glycol is a humectant that helps ingredients penetrate into and over your skin better, which is probably why despite its thick texture, it absorbs into the skin within seconds. This trio truly makes my nighttime routine simpler and effective

— I tend to stay away from facial oils bc they clog my pores and I’ve just never been impressed with them but this one is nothing like that! It doesn’t clog my pores and is great for my dry skin and I’ve noticed slight reduction of the redness on my cheeks!
This is one of the few oils I’ve found (so far) that I actually enjoy using on my face!
Dinner time & bath time are my favourite times of the day. We always make a big effort to eat together & bath the kids together because there’s not a lot of time from Chris finishing work & Nora going to bed at 7pm so every second counts 🖤 -

My favorite way to bring a little bit of spa home on a cold winter evening is hot cloth cleansing. It’s not only a simple and effective cleansing method, but a great way to exfoliate the skin gently for a nice glow. Just take a little coconut oil (or any oil based cleanser like a cream cleanser), massage it into the face, drape a steamy cotton cloth over the face for a few seconds, then wipe clean. Rinse the cloth with hot water, ring out, and repeat the wiping up to 4 times until the cloth wipes clean. Bliss✨👌Bonus: konmari-ing your washcloths is also very therapeutic.
