Een beetje inspiratie voor deze week. Het is vandaag een week geleden van de allerlaatste voorstelling van the Color Purple. Het was even afkicken en tijd om een aantal zaken te laten bezinken. Wat ik één van de belangrijkste lessen vond is het leren communiceren zodat men jouw visie en boodschap begrijpt. Dat houdt in dat je leert spreken zonder ego, boosheid, irritatie, frustratie... maar vanuit compassie. Ik ben weer enthousiast om mijn S.T.E.M. presentatie trainingen te gaan verzorgen. Er wordt druk gewerkt aan mijn nieuwe Website en ben zo enthousiast dat met jullie te delen. Ik hou je op de hoogte. 3️⃣ Effective Steps To Take In Order To Live Life To The Fullest!
1️⃣ Become Present - So many times in life we find ourselves focusing on the challenges of the past or the scary "what if's" of the future. 👀 at your past experiences as a "success tax" that was paid to prepare you for current opportunities. Next stop allowing future "what if's" to steal your thoughts. Future "what-ifs" rarely happen & the truth is we can't control it anyway so why stress over it. Instead, get present through focused breathing, using reminders, & being grateful.
Focused breathing is a meditation technique where you create a rythmatic breathing pattern which releases stress & endorphins. Close your eyes & take two quick breaths in from your nose & then release one long breath from your mouth. Repeat for 3-5 minutes.
Using reminders is a technique where you pick something you see often & every time you see it you refocus your wandering mind to becoming present. I use stop lights & I've trained myself to "get present in the moment" whenever I see one!
Being grateful is awesome because it's impossible to feel fear or stress when you are feeling grateful, they are opposite emotions. Whenever you feel your mind wandering think of 3-5 simple things you are grateful for & visualize them in your "minds eye".
2️⃣ Get Committed To Personal Growth - In the book Power VS. Force by David Hawkins he maps out something he calls the Map of Consciousness. He goes on to explain there are 17 levels of growth a human can experience, from Shame & Guilt to Peace & Enlightenment. By making personal growth a priority, & focusing on evolving through each level of consciousness, one can create a richer & more fulfilling life experience!
3️⃣ Design Your Perfect Life - How many times in life do we find ourselves trying to please everyone else. We commit to a second cousins wedding that we barely even like half way across the country, or we give up on our dreams to support our significant others. Instead, what if you wrote down what your perfect life would look & feel like, one with no limits, one full of joy and excitement...then you went and did it.
