Excuses don't make Champions!
That was quite literally the thought that popped in my head in my spin class this morning! I was feeling so empowered and proud of myself for getting my butt to class after my barrage of excuses this morning!!!
I told myself I was too tired, too sore, it is raining, and I tried to rationalize each step like "I didn't schedule another rest day, my legs are sore from class yesterday, and I probably won't make it there on time because there is so much traffic in the morning!" .
But dedication won out, and I adored being in class today!!!! .
Fitness is not only training for your body, it is for your whole being! It trains you for life, and I aim so much higher because of it!!!
Get out there guys, I believe in you, you are winners to your core, and you have definitely got this!!!!❤️💪😘

I have followed the rise of Steven Bartlett, @steven, the 25 year old CEO of Social Chain, for a few years now.
His journey from 18 year old penniless student to multi-millionaire fascinates me.
He thought at 18 that the material things (flash car etc.) would make him happy, but at 25, and now having the money to buy whatever he wants, his ideas have changed and he firmly believes that it’s not the material things that make you happy.
He has released a new podcast and I think it’s brilliant. It’s very insightful, heartfelt and talks a lot about mental health.
It transformed my hour long car journey this morning.
I’ve never listened to podcasts before but what a perfect way to learn and be inspired while you’re driving.

Trusting in Divine timing is something I struggle with especially because I always want to be *in control.* Remind yourself that there is ALWAYS time, and that whatever needs to get done will get done, maybe just not according to YOUR plan. As a type A person going with the flow can be so difficult! But the more we allow ourselves to relax into life, the more freedom we will have and the more productive we will be! #LiveAsYou

Do you ever notice when you’re in desperate need of something, the universe gives you little nudge? Today the it gave me a big palm to the forehead, V8 juice commercial style!
I was sitting in the training office and the only thing I wanted to do was elevate my legs and put my headphones in to drown out thoughts, voices and distractions.
I have definitely been burning the candle at both ends lately and the candle is almost gone. My body, mind and soul are ready to stop, breathe and relax. So after this post I will be logging off Instagram for the rest of the day to do just that! 📷: @_coppermoon_
When I started this year I wrote down a few goals that were pretty out of the box for me... I’m sure you might have to? (Let me know yours in the comments!) One of mine was to do at least 1 interview a month with another person who has expertise with living out health, fitness, or wellness, and what’s ironic is that I was asked to be interviewed that same week! God is pretty funny 😆 that way!

Anyone watched Spider-Man into the Spider- Verse? How amazing is the soundtrack 😭🥰 I literally loveeeeee animations like during summer my Netflix suggestions was filled with animations...always remind me that life’s too short to be stressing and for the first couple hours im in “lala stress free land” 🌸🦢🕊🦒🦄 then it’s back to reality 🙂
Here’s a TOWEL BASED CORE WORKOUT 🤓
1️⃣ Sit up crunch and twist x6 on each side
2️⃣ Straight leg crunches x10 on both legs
3️⃣ Leg raises x10
4️⃣ Leg raise pulses x15
Repeat 3 times
All you need is a towel 🌚... it’s super quick and honestly the moves are pretty simple as in no jumping crazy shizz and you still feel the burn!

leg day is the best dayyyy . Also found my new fav mirror in my gym even if it means taking shameless pics infront of ppl lifting lool . Also I stopped exercises that focused on my calves bc they were getting bulky QUICK but I kinda miss them big ugh

Caloric deficit under way, 4 weight training days a week, 3 30 minute cardio sessions (mix of steady state and HIIT), getting at least 10,000 steps in a day🤩 don’t need to do anything crazy to make changes to your body🤷🏼♀️ it’s amazing what small changes can do👏🏼
Taught this super fun flow in class this morning! Well, I don’t know if @meghsaul and @adelamoraa thought it was all that fun😂🥵BUT I HAD A BLAST
Friendly reminder that if you’re feeling down on your body image, keep doing the work to change your thinking. I know it might seem silly, but there was a time where 1️⃣I would’ve never worn a crop top and recorded a video of myself (let alone worn a crop top at all) and 2️⃣ even if I did record a video like this I would’ve been incredibly ashamed to post it and it would’ve triggered me back into disordered eating behavior.
Now I look at that body and I’m PROUD of how well it moves and how strong it is. 🥰Sure, I’d be lying if I didn’t have a flashback to my old behavior and feel a twinge of perfectionism creeping in. Now I have the tools to talk myself off that ledge quickly and effectively. Your thoughts create your feelings. You can choose to think different thoughts. It just takes time.
Healing your relationship with your body is a long road and it’s a bumpy one at that. It’s not a magic, snap your fingers, cure it all type of thing. It’s a process but I’m so grateful I had the urge to heal💗
