A journey of a thousand miles begins with a first step (or whatever the saying goes!)! I get so many questions from people so eager to earn money from traveling. All I have to say is that I started blogging in May 2015, and for the first two years nobody even read my blog! I literally got one visitor only to my website for several month and that was my mother! But I still continued posting! Why? Because I enjoyed what I was doing! If I had been doing it for money, I would have shut down my blog and Instagram long time back. The thing is that if you do it for money, you will not be able to survive because (unless your blog goes viral), it takes several years to build a following (a following that engages in your content and trusts you) and gradually start making money from it. It can be very frustrating. But if you are doing it only because you enjoy doing it, because it brings you happiness and satisfaction, chances are you will start making money from it! In other words, it takes tremendous patience and perseverance to become a success - nobody became successful overnight. The thing is that you can become successful overnight but after putting in ten or twenty years of hard work! PS: I also have a long way to go but if I am working for something purely because it is giving me happiness and nothing else, the journey is already over. Whether success comes or doesn’t come, it doesn’t matter. Whether money comes or doesn’t come, it doesn’t matter.
James Bond Island 0️⃣0️⃣7️⃣
I think this is definitely what parents need to take advice on 🤣
Some days are more challenging than others and its those days when you have no alcohol in and thats why from today you should take that advice! 🤣
To be in one place is to be fully immerse in. We were in a place called Ilam, in the East of Nepal. It was just after the Festival of Light and there were some swings still up, so we stopped by the side of the road. While my friends playing with the swing, I walked over to see this Tea Hills and reminded by what our local friend told us: "the best tea you can find is not from Darjeeling, but it’s from this region.” My soul agrees. #PPFramed#passionpassport#Nepal
I’m not travelling again until Feb but since Matera is starting out 2019 as Europe’s Capital of Culture, here’s an excuse to post a photo taken in Matera. It’s really a stunning & incredibly interesting place. Go see it!

Lisbon has some amazing open patio spaces including this one that overlooks a large water feature but also the Tagus River.

Visiting my old London neighbour, & seeing how much has changed but also how much has stayed the same, was one of my favourite travel stops this year.
