Remember that post about @lewishowes being on my vision board? Well, BOOM 💥 👐🏽 What I love the most about this though is that I got to watch two men I deeply admire connect and create greatness together. Lewis interviews some of the greatest people in the world (no seriously... Kobe, Tony Robbins, Jay Shetty, etc.) and it brings me great pride and joy to know my Dad is apart of that roster. You did great Dad! You had no option but to because all you had to do was just... be yourself 🤷🏽♀️. Thanks for teaching me that 🌱❤️ @mrjasonowilson Ok y’all... now that I got that out... go search “Lewis Howe’s” on your podcast app/Youtube and listen to this powerful interview! (it’ll be the most recent upload)
#365DaysOfGratitude Year 3 Day 14
Today I am #grateful for winter weather. -
We don’t usually get anything resembling winter in Santa Barbara. Today it was grey skies, storm clouds, strong wind, rain, and colder temperatures. For fun, I imagined it was snowing. 😀☃️ I have a vivid imagination. 🤷♂️
That’s me for the day. Now it is your turn. What are you grateful for?
While holding space, nurturing self and intentions during the new moon. I recognized how differently I show up for self now. In the past when deep emotions rose to the surface I would label them, judge them, and try to let them go immediately. When uncomfortable emotions knock on my front door I smile, welcoming them in for tea. We sit. I listen. Letting go of the judgement. Asking self. Can I simply be here. Now. In the room, with all of this. Understanding that this is not forever. There will come a moment soon when the uncomfortable emotions leave. .
Showing up for self in this way has supported deep transformations. Shifting perspectives within so many facets. Inviting more love, joy, peace to flow through as I grow the capacity to hold space for whatever shows up. .
Noticing the courage within, to be here, loving self no matter what I’m flowing through. .
As I nurture self, and invite myself to be truly present, I realized that I am becoming the best friend I’ve ever had. It’s interesting that for so many years I’ve loved and nurtured others more than myself. Shifting into loving self first, I realized that I have more love to give. .
Within the journey of nurturing self I recognized that I was acting as if I were less than. I am no more, or less. Why is it that I am not acting as if I am worthy? I see all as one. .
Without judgement, I slowly began aligned actions of love for self. .
What are you shifting?
Holding space for?
Are you nurturing self through a deep transformation?

The last 2 mornings over tea, I walked my kids through My #HighPerformanceLiving Planner and asking them all the questions. The most insightful section for them was rating their 6 #highperformancehabits btw 1-5, for how their day went. (This is supposed to happen at night, but I did it this morning.) It was a great reflective tool for myself, but even better way for me to talk to them about what they did well and what they could focus on today. It guided us through meaningful, mindful conversations vs asking, “how was your day?” And getting a monosyllabic, “Fine,” from my teenager. We just started and it takes 22 repetitions (or something) to make a habit, so gonna keep going.
I am SO flipping excited for where my business is headed. Unfortunately, sometimes growth requires us to leave things behind (like this Instagram account & FB page), so if you want to stay in touch, please follow @miranda.n.allen ✨
There is no need for grand acts valour, sometimes being courageous simply calls for us to address difficulties or pain that we maybe facing in spite of fear. We all have courage in us, we just need to encourage and nurture it - in ourselves and in others!
I will be happier.
I will wear the clothes I love.
I will have more confidence.
I will have more energy.
ALL OF THESE ARE THINKING ERRORS. .
You have trained your brain to be very self critical. So once you reach X, whatever it is, there will be a list of things to follow that now need fixed because clearly X wasnt it. Have you ever looked back at old photos of you and thought how great you looked but at the time you still didnt think you looked good??
The feelings you want, the confidence, the love is all available to you RIGHT NOW but you have to retrain your brain.
Heres some homework for you...
1.Just notice what your thoughts are currently. Whats wrong with you today, what you want to change and how you think youre going to feel after??
2.Practice thinking INTENTIONALLY about how you want to feel. This sounds kinda lame and TOO easy to make a difference, BUT IT WILL. Think about how you THINK you will feel once you lose the weight or whatever your goal is and think that now on purpose.
Your thoughts predict your feelings. It isnt your body, it isnt your income, it isnt any of that external stuff, it is literally whats going on INSIDE YOUR BRAIN. This intentional thought work is SO IMPORTANT. How you think youre.going to feel when you lose weight is available to you TODAY.
Try this and shoot me a message and let me know how it goes for you or if you have any questions about it.
Every morning I dry brush with this oil.⠀

Good morning Tuesday💃🏼🕺🏼 I love to dance in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening, in my car, at church, in my living room, at a wedding, pretty much anywhere. Did I mention I don’t care who’s watching. Dancing in my head to the music, out loud, making my own music, it doesn’t matter I’m gonna dance. Dancing has gotten me through some of the hardest stuff in my life. Maybe it’s because my mom was a go go dancer back in the day when it was classy..you know Laugh in days... when Goldie Hawn was on and always danced💃🏼 it is proven that when you dance you burn calories, create endorphins, get your blood flowing, and definitely feel better. Oh and I sing, boy do I sing 🎶 📣🔊loud 😆 it doesn’t matter what I sound like.. all that matters is that it makes my heart feel really good.❤️I’m sorry to my husband who has to hear me sing but I think he kind of secretly enjoys it. #dancelikeknowoneswatching#transformationalcoach#lifestyle#lifecoach#anythingispossible#sing#burncalories#bodyinmotion@officialgoldiehawn#laughin#lovetodance
There are flowers, there's madness, there's demons, blood and storms.. but there's so much Love 💛
A lot of us go through life believing YES is the best answer to everything. I’m here to tell you it's ok to say NO
It’s easy to be aggregable, and this is not a bad quality. You are caring, helpful and kind all qualities that make you amazing. Saying NO changes none of that but only serves to make you
Following your emotions, gives our soul the confidence to follow its own
journey. Putting everyone else’s needs above our own forces us to neglect our journey, which could leave us feeling discouraged.
We forget to ask ourselves what we want and saying NO only equates to inevitable
confrontation, which will eventually lead to feelings of rejection and fear.
This fear keeps us in a shell, unbreakable without a change in attitude.
Ask yourself this-
1) Do you ever say sorry, when you know deep down you were not in the wrong?
2) Do you accept opinions you don’t agree with?
3) Do you refrain from expressing how you feel in your relationship because confrontation may
If you said YES to any of these question ask youself What do you want to do? What makes you happy?
Which might be the hardest question because many of us have forgotten to put ourselves first.
It's ok to start loving you
And it’s not selfish to put yourself first
Respect your self-worth and be proud of the decisions you make because YOU DID IT

Here today. Gone tomorrow. In the blink of an eye.
And if and when death comes looking for me; I’ll be found grateful. Grateful for God’s amazing grace. That I married the woman of my dreams. I won two of the biggest trophies in my life. My kiddos. They call me a title and biggest honor I will ever have in this life is; they call me Dad.
What is that for you? Cause here today. Gone tomorrow.... Live to the full!
Have a great Tuesday.

When we focus on developing ourselves
we are able to bring wholeness into our lives, thus into our psyches. We become fragmented with time and from all we experience in life
The brain does its best job to try to keep us safe. When we lack self awareness and knowledge of the human psyche/spirit- we are not aware of how fragmented our psyches can become thus things become more and more split daily as a means to protect us from the world around us
Be the warrior and hero of your life and build strength- mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually in order to bring wholeness to our fragmented psyches. Awareness and Knowledge can bring things together
T I P S: Meditate, Read Spiritual, Philosophical and Books on Psychology, Analyze your Dreams, Ask Questions to seek understanding VS just spreading your opinion onto others

Because you can only be told what to do for so long.
While it may appear noble to serve your country, please be aware that you must stay within the confines of the decisions of others.
I've lost close friends to suicide in the military. I'm not one to try to guess something as sensitive as this topic.
3 people that I knew quite well committed suicide while I was in and all 3 had a similar struggle going on from within:
1. Pressure of having to decide between family and duty. (deployments and the things that come with it, spousal pressures, having fear to make simple family decisions that may impact your career or marriage)
2. Coming back from a hazardous duty station for an extended period of time. While I have never been to a hazardous duty station(outside of a ship), I in processed and out processed service members for a few years who were Indivual Augmentees. People who went to hazardous duty stations. From my observation, it was clear: the lack of support they received and the abundance of medication that replaced real, hands on help was something that I'd never seen before).
3. Pressure of having to be in a constant state of confinement. Life can be harder in many other aspects but military life reminds you that your time is actually not yours. Even when trying to go on leave, a state of anxiety can ensue because all your plans can be canceled just.. because. While this may not seem challenging to some, this is just a fraction of the stockpile of methods used to keep you "on your toes" and also on a constant Rollercoaster of reward and punishment.
This isn't an anti military post (I want to bold face that so it doesn't get pushed out of translation), it's more of a question about how to solve a problem that's been getting swept under the rug for so long.
We say "Support the Troops" but do not we really mean it?
If you use the word "hater", you'll just be talking to yourself.
Met #jensincero last night, she said to try living a day like we knew it was our last, I immediately got pulled over for speeding...lol
Valerie Kondos Field is the gymnastics coach at UCLA. She is the coach of Katelyn Ohashi...the gymnast who landed the perfect 10 on her floor routine. There's a reason why you can feel the joy in that video. It's because of how these women are being led, how they are allowed to show up as they are. I'm obsessed with this story and wrote a little blog about it. The link is in the bio.
