A lot of you have been sending me DMs asking what my daily routine is like with @meliazeineddine, so I thought I’d share what the first half of my day is like! .
So, Melia usually wakes up at around 6am for a feeding and she either stays up, or goes to sleep until 8am. Once she’s up, I change her diaper, her clothes, make the bed, and head downstairs to get her ready to go to her grandparents house! .
My parents live 5 min away, so instead of being home alone all day, I go over to their house to work and drink mate with my mom (who knows what mate is?)! 🙋♀️
My parents both work from home, and so does my sister, so we all spend time together while working and taking breaks to play with Melia. ❤️
I usually get to their house at around 10am, and at around 1130am, I get ready and leave for the gym. DISCLAIMER: IF I go to the gym - lol half the time Melia doesn’t want me to go. So I try to go 2-3 times a week.
Melia takes her nap at around noon, so it’s the perfect time to go to the gym! Then when I come home, it’s back to being a working mom, and drinking mate! .
And that’s pretty much it for the first half of my day! STAY TUNED for an update on what I do during the second half of my day! .

CURRENT DIET/TRAINING SPLIT:
After my post about why I don’t lift heavy, it made me think about my own routine in terms of what works for me and what doesn’t. I’ve had some ups and downs over the 2+ years of my fitness journey but I’ve been reflecting on the “ups” to create myself a little plan😊
Being slim and petite with curves in the right places has always been my goal and I’m really happy with the muscle I’ve gained over the last few years. Being real though, I’m not looking to build anymore. I’m happy plus I have the potential to look too big. .
So this is what I’ve been doing and will continue to do for the foreseeablee future, (I’m gonna create a “Slim thick” highlight and update it lots 😘): .
▪️I’ve cut back a lot on meat and I’m dairy free anyway so I’m eating a lot of vegan meals. .
▪️Lots of carbs 😋🍌🍓🍠🍞🍝 My body works really off high carb, I train well, I don’t give into cravings as much, I’m still able to lose weight but I’m much nicer to be around 🥺🤣 So lots of pasta, beans, oats, cereal, pitta bread and potatoes 🥰 .
▪️My protein intake is now a lot lower. I hold onto a lot of weight on my legs and glutes even at my smallest so I don’t need a crazy amount of protein to hold onto the gains. Something that’s taken me years to realise.🙄
▪️I’m training upper body every 10 days and keeping it really light. .
▪️My 2 leg days are focused around glutes. For example: hip thrusts, cable pull throughs, cable kickbacks, the abductor machine, single leg push downs and resistance band exercises. I’m training glutes one day a week at home too!
▪️I’m doing cardio x 2 a week😊 Fast walking on the treadmill for 45 minutes-1 hour on a slight incline and not holding on.
▪️I’m training abs twice a week (on the end of a workout) using my favourite @vickyjustiz workout: “Intense small waist workout” (the link is in my ab routine highlight) and I do my vacuums every day. (The explanation and link to that is also in my ab routine highlight) 💗
▪️I’m not aiming for a number on the scales, as long as my size 8 jeans fit, my glutes feel peachy and I feel comfortable wearing a crop top then it’s all good 🥰
LOVE YOURSELF. Love every imperfection & see the beauty in them. My tummy is full of stretch marks, I could spend the rest of my life trying to hide them. I could never wear crop tops or two piece bathing suits. Or I could choice to embrace my body the way it is & truly love myself. It is not easy by any means! But I know I deserve to love myself & have no shame about my body. ✨ #iambeautiful
