Topic: THE MIND - The power house of thoughts and ideas... An ancient law from the scriptures says: Guard your heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life.
The mind is the controller of every man's life, nothing happens in form of action except it is first conceived in the mind.
The mind harbors thought and thoughts leads to action, what it simply means is that every action is a result of preconceived thoughts,
Right thoughts brings about right actions and vise versa, that is why that ancient law admonished us to guard our heart.
The mind is the incubation point of great ideas, it is the dwelling place of thoughts, the mind conceived ideas in form of thoughts and manifest it in form of action which later becomes innovations.
The quality of our life most of the time is a result of the quality of the thoughts will allow into our minds.
Mediocrity and greatness are direct products of the power of the mind, what you think is what you become.
Good news is you can start any day to control and monitor the thoughts you let into your mind, greatness if waiting for you if you can think it in your mind.
LOOK FORWARD TO DISAPPOINTMENT
When Beethoven was young, he struggled to earn a living as a musician, to get married and lead a normal life. When he finally achieved success, in his late twenties, he began to lose his hearing. It was his lowest point. He sank into a deep depression. In a letter he declared, “The most beautiful years of my life must pass without accomplishing the promise of my talent and powers.” Six months later, Beethoven decided, “No! I cannot endure it. I will take Fate by the throat; it shall not wholly overcome me.” Thus began his rise to the summit of his achievements.
Beethoven transformed his obstacle into a positive force. His music conveys this self-reflection and self-awareness; he used his compositions to come to a greater understanding of himself. Beethoven’s music was a healing force for himself, and so in turn it helps us heal our wounds.
When you are at your lowest, when everything that could go wrong has gone wrong, see it as the best place to begin. We learn more from disappointments than from successes. Every obstacle we overcome strengthens our confidence to overcome more. Beethoven overcame the seemingly insurmountable obstacle of deafness. Creative people always have their ideas, ambitions, passions and memories to support them.
ALL MISFORTUNE IS BUT A STEPPING STONE TO FORTUNE.
