Welcome to today’s post where we’re doing a little review of what happened last week: Paraequestrianism, where everything is trial and error ft. My nub!
So, what you see here is my nub basically in like a cocoon contraption. I’ve had a few people mention to me that having something for my nub to rest in/on could help me post while I trot (I currently can’t). I went with a dog mouth cover thingy as I’ve seen some other people use a similar setup. While I was riding, I would stop to adjust it a little here and there. Did it help me post? No. I couldn’t get it up high enough to where I could use it as something to lift off from or feel like it wasn’t going to collapse from my weight. But, it did put my nub in a position to where I felt like I had a better seat. Usually it’s bouncing around even with the strap over it, so it was nice to feel more secure! Daytona spooked a little cause they were doing work on the roof, and I didn’t feel like I was losing my balance while she veered off because she thought the scary roofers might get her. I still think there’s a way to improve this so I can post, but for now, I’m pretty happy with it! Even if it looks kind of ghetto 😜 #totrotornottotrot
Aside from that, I have my Arbonne launch party TOMORROW and if you’re interested shoot me a dm or comment down below! It’s going to be so informative, fun + hosted by the amazing @kpc12 , so you might as well come and say hello! 🥰

I am #horsecrazy and I think that my love of animals and passion for horses is channeled into my artwork. I offer original equine artwork (available on Etsy- link in bio), prints (on stretched canvas ready to hang or prints on heavy-weighted paper), cards, mugs, and last but not least custom portraits of you beloved pet! Stop comparing yourself and just walk your own journey.
It doesn't matter what size you are.
How perfect her hair looks.
Stop thinking if only I could be like her, I would be happy.
Instead just be the amazing and beautiful individual you are.
And don't let the trap of comparison steal your JOY 💕
P.s: Over here wishing it was still summer instead of a snow storm coming ☀️
Calling all Equestrians.
And anyone who loves feeling capable and able in their body.
This little number was taught to me by @kariharendorf (seriously if you are ever in or around the Great Barrington MA area jump, no run to one of her classes, your body will thank you) .
This movement targets some of the more integral muscle complexes that we riders use to hold our four legged partners beneath us while carrying ourselves confidently above.
And if you are a non horsey riding human this type of movement can bring more awareness, mobility, and stability to muscle complexes that keep our upper and lower body connected ......... so, ummmm,
If you are curious about how yoga and functional movement will benefit your riding, both mentally and physically, let me know! I can start putting more snippets of movement on this little square with some more detailed information on said movement. .
Ok this was fun, I hope you all move in a way that serves you today ♥️. .

Thinking about how excited I am to ride again and currently procrastinating on packing for Wellington even though I LEAVE tomorrow! Woohoo! I’m so ready to see the sun again and all the fancy horses that I’ll never own 🙃
Also, I’ve been listening to the Mary Poppins Returns soundtrack and it’s just so magical! I’ve always wondered about like listening to music while I’m riding and how that would work..do any of you guys listen to music while you ride?

Leroy showing off his mad skills in Wellington😎😍. Headed back to FL tonight! Can’t wait to see my fabulous boys💖💖 #floridatrip2k19#sunnyflorida☀️🌴
At the @eqbusinesswomen summit, we discussed the importance of branding yourself and your business. So, with that advice in mind I teamed up with the wonderful @shelbyphillipsphotography and she helped me create the official logo of Hairnets and Breeches, swipe to check it out!
Waking up before the sun and getting it done ☀️
No one said its always easy to get up before work and get my workout in. But its possible.
We just have to make it possible.
You have to change our mindset from impossible to possible. 💕
I talk about my dog all the time but one thing people don't know about me is I have a rabbit.
And he never fails to put a smile on my face with his goofiness.

Enjoy the mud all over my horse 🙄
Grace was actually awesome today when I rode her! It was really muddy so I didn’t do much but she didn’t act up like she usually does so that made me super happy :) I probably won’t ride again until my lesson this Friday hopefully I will be able to get some videos. •
Also I will hopefully have a couple of exciting news coming up!!!!! 😏😎
i just had an awesome ride on belle! since the arena was actually dry, i tried starting her on barrels😆 i think she liked it! she didn’t buck, or act antsy. she listened to me very well today! back to barrels, i’m just practicing starting a horse. it would be really good for me to learn:)
palominos or white horses?
@aqhnovice does it again. Thanks for the wonderful edit ❤️
I’ll definitely be posting more videos from Thornton and I playing in the snow on Monday because I just think they are so cute.
If you are wondering what kinda weird dancing I’m doing in a lot of these clips... you’re not alone. Apparently I lose all self awareness when I listen to the “I miss y2k pop” playlist.
Here's my #10yearchallenge with Cosmic!
10 years ago I wasn't actually actively riding anywhere, and Cosmic was mainly leadline walk in his field riding-wise because when he got confused he would try to bolt back to the gate (we had no arenas or pens for riding and weren't expecting much from him anyways other than a little joy ride). And I know I was wearing running shoes and I'm sitting terribly but the stirrups have elastics and we just walked 😊
Fast forward 10 years and we've definitely grown together! Cosmic still doesn't do much other than walk but I have never expected a great deal from him, he is turning into a stiff old boy so I'm happy farting around on him! Even if he doesn't trot or canter, he has come so far! I can trust basically anyone on him or handling him, and my own riding has come leaps and bounds!
We were both 12 years old in the first pic, and on Feb 1st (his birthday) we'll both be 22!
