  • Et si on parlait cortisol et entrainement ? 🤓 . . . Cortisol --> hormone du stress --> une hormone qui met à disposition des substrats énergétiques pour subvenir au "fight or flight response" (ecosia ou google si t'aime pas planter des arbres sont tes amis). . . . En gros c'est une hormone dont l'une des fonctions est de bouffer ton muscle pour mettre à disposition de l'énergie. Cette hormone est formée sur la même base que la testostérone...ce sont donc des hormones concurrentielles !😱 . . . T'as sûrement déjà entendu dire qu'il fallait pas dépasser 1h d'entrainement sinon le grand méchant cortisol va prendre le dessus dans cette guerre sainte contre la généreuse et salvatrice testostérone...alors oui mais nope ! 🚫 Si tu compares 1) un entrainement super violent de 30 minutes qui te laisse en pls par terre dans ta transpiration et tes larmes OU 2) un entrainement de 2 heures dans lequel t'as placé que 5 séries échauffement compris parce que t'étais trop occupé à charbonner la fitgirl qui tentait de faire ses squats tranquilles...devine quoi ? C'est l'option 1) qui va être la plus stressante et donc présenter le plus de cortisol. . . . Message à retenir : ton corps se soucie plus de l'intensité en fonction du temps que du temps d'entrainement seul. Conclusion : rentre dans la salle, fais ce que tu as à faire, et sors. Sans regarder l'heure. Basta.

Butttt I’m going on a 10 week cut which is the longest I’ve tried so far, so we’ll see how that goes. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Currently: 178.5 lbs/ 81 Kg⁣⁣ Goal Weight: 168 lbs/ 76.2 Kg

  • I tired sticking to a gym schedule 3x before this and gave up. I started back up in 2015 and have since gone damn near every day! ▫️ It’s okay to fall off, just don’t stay there! Staying fit and eating healthy used to be something I ran from, now I don’t know how I lived without it. 🙌🏼
