There’s nothing you can’t do. Contrary to what I’ve overheard people saying about me, lol 😂😇 I’m not a dancer and I’m not gymnast. I’ve been to once dance class... ever... and all of 3 yoga classes...
And two years ago for my birthday I decided to teach myself the splits as a present of something I’d always wanted to do.
I was about 1.5’ off the ground (which is about a third of my height for perspective)
It took 2.5 months.😱👌 keep in mind weight training specifically pulls the muscles tighter to give the shape...
I stretched for 5-10min a day to get there. Thinking that it’ll get there when it does. I reached my goal two weeks early. .
I Stretch more not and I’m more flexible now. But, it’s now become a curiosity, can I do a standing split, can I do a rotating split, what if, could I, or I wonder... 🤔
Stay curious and open minded about your limitations actually are. You might be surprised to find there aren’t any. .
There isn’t anything you can’t learn, or develop. Think of your life in longer terms rather than instant gratification results. It opens up your world to more options and possibilities.

I love nothing more then competing! Teamed up with @firstname.lastname@example.org@elliegel this weekend for @thecastlegames and we have NEVER trained together before and nicked us a little 15 place out of 46! Not bad at all I’ll say! 😎
Some great workout set up even know my legs are completely dead from 126 DB thrusters In 6 minutes ☠️💀 was hoping for a 90+ snatch this weekend but didn’t happen and I’m fine with that! Today’s leg day was. A. Hard one. Not sure if that’s because it’s Monday, because I incorporated more HITT, or because of my new glute band.
Either way, I’m going to feel it tomorrow. Also- I challenge you to drink a gallon of water today to kickstart your week, don’t forget to tag me showin’ off your h2o!
