So I got off of work at 3:30 am...then went home laid down for about an hr then went to the gym. Its now 5:48 AM and Tiredness is creepin up. But I'm determined to work my butt off to see the results I want to see. They say you should always be the hardest worker in the room. 🤢 If you watch carefully, you can see the moment - 5th rep - where I realise 15-20 of these alternating extensions with an iso-hold will be pretty fucking disgusting.
Made the decision coming into this block that I’d probably benefit from some machine/isolation quad work, that’s a little easier to recover from whilst building volume up across the phase.
Sessions based around pretty taxing movements due to available kit at the studio, towards the last couple of weeks, were knocking the shit out of me.
So pushing some machine work into this phase should be a welcome addition and allow volume to accumulate with a lower chance of picking up niggles as the phase rumbles on.

I wasn't able to go to the gym so I brought the gym to me. ⛄In honor of 12 days of fitmas. I did my own little fitmas Challenge. I like to be a creative and fun with my workout. So here is the challenge: ⛄ I wrote out 12 different exercises on cards and placed them in a mug. I than drew 6 of those cards randomly. ⛄For each 6 exercises I roll the die twice; one for reps (number plus 12) and second, sets. ⛄My 6 random exercises, butt lifts, crunches, plank (seconds), push-ups, cradle rocks,calf raises. ⛄It was fun and I will do it again. ⛄Happy fitmas may your abs be merry and tight.
