I’ve come a long way in my health and fitness journey over the years. But I still have setbacks. I still have moments where I am overly critical of myself & don’t always feel comfortable in my own skin. And being heavily immersed in the fitness industry, I still compare myself to others way too often 🙅🏻♀️
I don’t talk about it often, but I’ve struggled with an eating disorder for the better part of my 20’s, and it’s something I still deal with. I want to be transparent because this is something you won’t see on my IG story. You see the workouts, and the motivation, & all my nutritional products. But what you don’t see is the ongoing battle of learning to love and accept my body for the way it is. You don’t hear the negative self-talk, or dialogue in my head telling me I’m not skinny or fit enough 😖
Everyone has their own battles, and this is mine. 2019 for me is about acceptance. Not only accepting my body, but accepting where I’m at in all areas of my life. Accepting that my value as a person isn’t determined by what I look like, or how “fit” I am, and it never will be ✨
One of the most annoying things I get told is “you’re lucky you have good genetics”... It’s just a slap in the face when you know how much time and effort you’ve put in. First photo was 3 years ago, and second photo was today. I had already been training for 4 years in the before photo.
It’s been around 7 years since I started this fitness journey, and I’ve been consistent ever since. My progress isn’t dramatic, and if you were to put in the same time/effort as I have so far you probably wouldn’t claim that I’m “genetically blessed” at all.
Don’t be disheartened if you’re just beginning your fitness journey and comparing your chapter 1 to someone else’s chapter 10. You’ll always achieve the results you deserve.

BUTTTTTT, more importantly can we just take a sec and wow like i’m so happy my legs are getting thick again. I’ve been eating well since the break but i need to make sure i don’t get lazy and start skipping meals this semester. Good night 🖤✌️
#mindsetmonday What does it take to change your physique? I’m afraid I have some bad news - wether your goal is to drop a few pounds, to do a photoshoot or get on stage I believe the same amount of commitment is required. Depending on where you are will depend on length of time it takes. However - you HAVE TO BE FANATICAL. To achieve you have to give 100% or it won’t work! You cannot enter into any transformation no matter how small without a winning mentality. Half arsed effort = poor results. I work with all sorts of people but the similarity between all of my clients is that I expect 110% effort. Eyes on the goal. If you think you are ready to give it everything - I have a few online training slots available. Please feel free to DM me for a consultation
Ps. Can’t wait to get some sun back in our lives ☀️ 🙏🏼
So my new training programme is kicking my ass! 🔥
That and my new pre workout @outbreaknutrition Pathogen 🤯👌🏻 but in a good way!
Training Legs 3 x per week, Back & Shoulders x 2 per week and Arms & Chest x 1 per week. HIIT training x 6 per week and 1 complete rest day 🙏🏻
Pumped more than ever to see what I can do 💪🏻
