Happy #transformationtuesday sweet friends! I have so many people ask me how I resist certain foods, how I'm able to cut out others, etc. The simple answer is that I finally decided to stop letting food win. Food won my entire life. There was always Monday to start over. Always a holiday, birthday, girls night, dinner with family - any reason why starting a new diet had to be pushed back. Always another diet to try and inevitably another reason or excuse why it didn't work. Well, I'm over it. Yes I love chips and queso - but, guess what. I also love not feeling super bloated and carrying an extra spare tire around my stomach. Of course I love brownies and a cup of milk - but, I love not feeling tired all day long. Spaghetti and garlic bread? Yup. A staple in my family. But, I love not having so much puffiness and extra weight ALL over my body. My wedding ring is loose, I had to buy tons of new clothes, I sleep better at night, skin is clearer, have SO much more energy, focus and WILL POWER. It's so liberating. And the best part is - I don't really feel deprived. I don't feel hungry. I don't feel defeated anymore. I have great replacements for the items above that don’t make me feel miserable after eating them. I'm just so....happy. And proud of myself. And so thankful I found keto - finally something that works for me. That's always worth celebrating. 😍🎉❤️

Woke up to snow!❄️ 2 of us are outside building snowmen ⛄️ while these kiddos are gonna join me for an at-home workout until it warms up. •I hate to admit it, since fitness was such a HUGE part of my life and I loved teaching group fitness classes right up until we moved, but I’ve totally fallen out of the routine. But I’m not too stressed about it. If I set a goal, I break it down into a plan. And if I schedule that plan into my weekly routine then all will be easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy. (😂 My 2 girls say that ALL the time) My favorite exercise is combining resistance training with cardio. I’ve seen the best results when I avoid straight cardio work. •Let me know if you want me to bring back my workout videos! (1st, I’ll start working out again😆) •And for the record, everything is bigger in Texas except our snowmen ⛄️😹 Happy weekend!
3 years ago today, my youngest wasn’t even a year old yet, and I ran my longest distance ever. 50 kms through the mountains in Canmore, AB. I’m still so proud of myself. Those training runs were tough and exhausting. I have ZERO desire to do it again......but goals change so we’ll see 😉 Dream big. Set goals. Crush them. Repeat. Only YOU can make yourself awesome!

I took the white and black pic on December 22 saying I am 80% to my goal.The coloured ones are done today .Worked my ass of for a full month only to lose 1/2 inch of my waist.Sometimes we have to do everything we can to achieve our goals and even if it is not 100% we need to keep going.
Last couple of days i have eaten so much carbs, that i feel swollen and I’m keeping water in my body 😩 no lines anywhere and bloated feeling...
I tried to start eating clean but this afternoon i screwed it all up 😔 i find it so difficult with this weather, but i will take it step by step, i’m hitting the gym now and hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for my eat-clean plan 🤷🏻♀️
Easy🤣😱🤪?? That is not a word that comes out of my mouth when it comes to my workouts (or life🤷♀️) and quite honestly "easy" should not be the word coming out of your mouth🙊 when it comes to any of your workouts either 🙅♀️ So, the next time you use "easy and workouts" in the same sentence, maybe it's about time you try some of my 20 minute workouts because "Easy" is the last word I would ever use to describe todays workout or any for that matter🤯 When your done taking the easy way out and just accepting your life as it is because that's the "easy" thing to do #theresmoretolife ❤ I'll be here busting my ass because "easy" hasn't gotten me to where I am at today #iamabadass 👊

So it’s been over 2 months since I’ve started getting in the gym, viewing what I put in my body differently and just overall taking care of me. I’m on that vitamin kick and these #collagen supplements by @youtheory has become my go to. The pills are pretty big and 6 pills is quite a lot to handle but that’s what you get for taking collagen in pill form
I’ve also discovered @popsugarfitness on #YouTube that is my new obsession, even when I can make a gym sesh I still slip in a 30 minute workout of theirs in and Let ho. The channel seriously has workouts for every mood and #fitness level. As someone who has a torn meniscus I’m finding that I can complete most workouts by following the modified moves. My will to kick my own ass and take back my body after 4 pregnancies, a surgery and a few bed rests here and there, not to mention the fact that I work at a brewery that makes amazing beer lol. I am so #thankful to my husband and sister for being my #fitfam and helping me stay focused and find joy in this journey. Sometimes ya gotta pour a cup of coffee and handle it!! After a wonderful 3 day weekend, we were a bit of a mess and had quite the morning getting big sissy and bubba back to school earlier. I’ll spare you the details because I’m sure you’ve been there many times yourself and could write a book too.😜 I love them to pieces and wouldn’t have it any other way. But it reminded me this morning, warm cup of coffee in my hand, nursing baby girl, reading my devotional, how I absolutely could not do mom life without those early morning coffee dates with Jesus.
BUT I haven’t always been committed to spending time with Him daily. Sure I prayed here and there on the hard days and read my Bible when it was convenient for me. But it wasn’t an intentional daily thing. I pretty much tried to handle mom life on my own.
Then one day on a much needed “snooze cruise” (you know, where you put the kiddos in the car and drive til they take a nap), when my older two were little, I felt God knocking on my heart, like He had so many times before, to spend time with Him. It was a day that I literally didn’t think I would make it.
This time instead of ignoring Him I listened. I was so tired of trying to handle it on my own. I stopped making the excuse that because my kids are early risers and I would most likely get interrupted, and started spending time with Him whether I got interrupted or not. I have to look back on that now and laugh a little. It’s like I thought it had to be this picture perfect setting of serenity and quiet or it didn’t count in God’s eyes.
Because the truth is, God doesn’t expect perfection from us. He only wants our whole heart. He meets us right in the middle of our messy and beautifully chaotic mom lives. And you know what? He honors all time we spend with Him. He works through all that mess and chaos and covers us with so much grace.
Oh momma if you do one thing for yourself today, make it this. Just sit with Him. Just soak up His love for you. He wants to hear from you. He wants your heart. I love this verse in the comments below. It paints the most beautiful picture of how I felt Him knocking on the door to my heart, and maybe yours too.❤️

I need to work on my food photography skills. 😬 I’m not sure if this picture makes it look like something you would want to eat but I promise it is good.
This is an easy recipe and if you have kids they can easily help mix the dough with their hands and top their own pizzas.
Dough makes 2 personal size pizza crust:
3/4 cup Kodiak buttermilk power cakes (79 grams)
1 Tbs olive oil
3-5 Tbs warm water (You can also get fancy and add seasoning into the crust like Italian seasoning or even some shredded cheese. Just be aware you need to probably have more warm water to the dough)
Preheat oven to 450.
Put power cakes and olive oil in bowl and begin to combine. Slowly add water to get correct dough consistency. Add more water if dough is too dry. Then roll out into two small personal size crust.
Bake with toppings on for 10-12 mins.
Macros for one serving of crust:
Carbs: 11 g
Fat: 8 g

Week 2, Day 2! Another great workout and I improved my numbers from last week!
Today's workout was "Faster" and definitely challenged my body. Being able to see my progress through this tracker calendar is so motivating. It pushes me to go that much harder!

FAQ: WILL SKIPPING WORKOUTS MAKE YOU GAIN WEIGHT?
My answer: no skipping a few days or even a week of workouts will not make you gain weight. Eating poorly is what causes weight gain. One thing I try and teach all my clients is that you cannot our train a bad diet.
I literally just skipped a full week of workouts and I did not gain weight. Sure I missed my workouts because I love exercising, but I know I will not gain 5-10 pounds when I miss a day or a week. It took me years to get this and truly believe it.
Focus on building a healthy nutrition plan that you can sustain long-term. You don’t have to starve yourself to stay in shape either. There are so many misconceptions out there about how much you need to exercise and how much and what you need to eat.
Consistent exercise is important, but you’ll never reach your goals until you dial in your nutrition.
In my one on one program, fit for life I create a customized nutrition plan for them that is sustainable. Ask yourself, if you can eat the way you are today 2 years down the road?
I work with my clients to see what works for them, what doesn’t, and if their daily eats align with their goals. If not, we make changes and I’m there 100% of the way to support them for 12 weeks and longer if needed.

CHANGES ☆ It took 4 kids to start to appreciate some cute clothes, shoes, and makeup. I am usually a jeans and messy bun kind of girl, but its nice to glam up every once in awhile just for the heck of it. I am starting to appreciate it more and more and getting bolder in my style.
