  • FREE 1-WEEK MEAL PLAN IN OUR BIO⠀ .⠀ Follow us (@simplyfitsociety) for more⠀ .⠀ By @themealprepmanual⠀ .⠀ Roasted Turkey Breast with Cauliflower Purée for Lunch from Book Number 1 and Asian Turkey Bowls for Dinner from Book Number 3 🤠🤠⠀ .⠀ One way I like to get cauliflower into my dishes is to mash them up and mix them with a regular potato. Mashed cauliflower by itself is better than regular cauliflower but mixing it into potatoes makes it almost unnoticeable. Mashed cauliflower by itself doesn’t quite have enough body to it for me to leave it on it’s own. It’s almost like mush instead of a mash. So not only is the potato for flavor but it’s also to add body. The roasted carrots in this dish is also one of the only forms of vegetables I don’t hate. They get a sweetness to them during the roasting process and lose all of their crunch making them easier to eat. ⠀ .⠀ The Asian Turkey Bowls are quickly becoming my go to meal when I need something to cook up for the week. They are super quick, only taking about 30 minutes to make a week’s worth of meals, and they are very flavorful. The carrots I use are shredded so i don’t have to worry about chopping or cooking because they will cook when I reheat the meal. If you wanted this meal to be higher in calories you could easily swap the turkey for beef and add more rice!

Why might this be? Well for one, our planted landmass in the United States is largely taken up by wheat, corn and soy production. We eat much of these subsidized crops, but also a lot of it is refined into oils and sugar that is then fed to cows (which also get a hefty subsidy.)⠀ .⠀ 5% of the planted landmass in the United States is dedicated to growing vegetables, which is perhaps one reason why they're relatively so expensive! 90% of Americans do not consume enough of them, according to the CDC, and may explain why the same proportion is deficient in at least one vitamin or mineral.⠀ .⠀ When you consider the research showing how one large daily salad (something I'm an advocate for and talk about in my book Genius Foods) might actually prevent brain aging, it becomes evident that society seems to want youthful, high performance brains to be a privilege of the upper class. Maybe that’s it’s way of maintaining the status quo. But I think we can change that. What say you?

  • PEITO DE FRANGO RECHEADO . 2 peitos de frango sem osso 1 xícara de espinafre ¼ de xícara de creme de ricota ou cottage 3 dentes de alho amassados 1/2 colher de chá de flocos de pimenta calabresa 1/2 colher de chá de páprica Sal a gosto 1 ovo 1/2 colher de chá de azeite de oliva . Modo de preparo: . Pique as folhas de espinafre e refogue em azeite por um ou dois minutos em fogo médio-baixo. Em uma tigela misture o creme de ricota, espinafre refogado, sal, páprica, flocos de pimenta e alho. Reserve. Pré-aqueça o forno a 180 °C e forre uma assadeira com papel-manteiga. Lave e seque os peitos de frango. Coloque o peito sobre uma superfície plana e cuidadosamente crie uma abertura para o recheio com uma faca afiada, cortando a parte superior do frango e indo fundo, mas sem perfurar completamente Coloque o recheio com uma colher e prenda a parte aberta com um palito. Mergulhe cada peito de frango nos ovos batidos, certificando-se de que o frango está bem revestido. Aqueça um pouco de azeite em uma panela e doure o frango por 2 a 4 minutos de ambos os lados. Coloque os peitos de frango no papel manteiga e asse no forno por 20-25 minutos até que o frango esteja completamente cozido. Fatie e sirva. . . Não esquece de curtir e marcar as amigas 👭❤️✨ . . Dobra już przechodzę do rzeczy 😂 ELITE to hiszpański serial który niedawno pojawił się w serwisie Netflix. Na początku obejrzałam kawałek i wyłączyłam bo po prostu nie zachwycił mnie tak, aby go oglądać. Po paru dniach nie mając nic innego do oglądania wróciłam do tego serialu i powiem szczerze że nie żałuję! Jaka głupia byłam że za pierwszym razem go wyłączyłam 😂 Ten serial jest znakomity, uwaga bo jak zaczniecie to nie skończycie na 1 odcinku 😂 Serial ma 8 odcinków po około 40 minut jeden. Serial opowiada o trzech uczniach których szkoła się zawaliła i w ramach rekompensaty otrzymują stydendium do prywatnej szkoły. Wraz z przybyciem nowych uczniów zaczynają się poważne problemy. A nawet mogę rzec zbrodni 🤯 W serialu ważnymi wątkami są pieniądzę ponieważ bohaterowie myślą że pieniędzmi da się poruszyć niebo i ziemię, że każdy będzię na ich skinienie. Poruszają także wątki homoseksualne, tolerancyjne, religijne, wirusa HIV, narkotyków i wiele wiele innych. Jeżeli zastanawiacie się nad obejrzeniem tego serialu to oczywiście zachęcam z całego serduszka. Podkreślam że nie jest to typowy teen drama więc osobom w każdym wieku może się to spodobać. 😎 Stacja @netflix zapowiedziała kolejne dwa sezony serialu co chyba świadczy o tym jak dobry jest ten serial 🤩 Więc nudzisz się?   • This is hands down one of my favorite breakfasts. Kodiak protein pancakes with zero calorie syrup. 😫 I add vanilla plant based protein powder for extra protein, flax seeds (the flax seeds are ground up so it doesn’t make the texture weird) for some healthy fat and cinnamon to the batter. I use olive oil spray for pretty much everything I cook on the stove. It’s a lot healthier than butter and you can’t over do it with the spray like you can with normal olive oil!
