  • 📈Balancing blood sugar is the FIRST step in rebalancing your entire body! 📉 . #Repost @theorganicdietitian with @get_repost ・・・ One key component to bringing hormones back into balance is by reducing stress.  But I am not just talking about mental/emotional stress (that is important too). I am also talking about the HIDDEN internal perceived stress that we may not even know we are dealing with.  I talked about one two posts back…dehydration.  Guest what?  Your body perceives imbalanced blood sugar as a STRESSOR.😣📈📉 .. Your adrenal glands respond by sending out a lot of cortisol (your stress hormone) and adrenaline.  Because cortisol isn’t just involved in your stress response but it also helps to regulate your blood sugars (particularly when they crash). Get hangry, shaky, experience brain fog, get tired after eating, or crave lots of sugar?  This could be a sign that your blood sugars are out of balance and it is causing your body stress. ⚖⚖ .. The other problem is that when your blood sugars go up, insulin gets released.  A spike of glucose and insulin can actually prevent your hormones from creating progesterone which can prevent ovulation.♀️ .. When our blood sugars are constantly high we tend to store more fat because insulin is higher.  Our fat cells secrete estrogen which can add to the estrogen that your ovaries are already making and set you up for estrogen dominance.👭 .. Imbalanced blood sugars can lead to more PMS, cramps, irregular cycles, acne, PCOS, and fertility issues.🤔 ..   • 1st ever progress photo ❗️❗️(posted) 🤣EXCISE THE TERRIBLE UNDIES 🤣🤣 So i have taken many photos of my body over the years and this is the first ever time i am posting it online! Because tonight i have shocked myself and realised how far i have come. I cant tell you exactly when i took that first photo... but it was some time in 2016.. 3 years ago. Yes its taken me 3 years to get where i am in the right photo. And i have been pulling apart that right photo until i found that bad boy on the left🤣 its taken me 3 years and i’m still not happy but now i can see how far I’ve come. And no fad diet/ detox/ shake/ meal replacement has done it. Just pure healthy eating and excercise and bluddy hard work. I have got on the band wagon and fallen off many times since 2016 trust me! But I’ve made progress 🙌🏻And these photos have made me realise what i can accomplish and i am proud. The photo on the right is a body of someone who hada very unhealthy relationship with food and didnt know what actual nutrition was.
