S/o to @ethosdecorum for catching me in my zone!
Y’all don’t understand the kind of passion, love, research, intention, time, and energy goes into what I do. To literally #dresstomanifest so many different people in different capacities for different events, lifestyles, and careers but it is my gift.
And in my gift I take pride in each article of clothing I break down why it fits this or that particular clients needs. For me it’s not just about the outfit looking good- it’s about the client manifesting magic, miracles, and greatness in that look. It takes an understanding of energy and how to yield it in another dimension. I keep saying my canvas are people, my paint is thrifted clothes. I have come to understand my gift in art form.
I want to yield more magic and mor miracles in the life’s of other through my gift #dresstomanifest. Want to clearly communicate on the outside who you are on the inside sign up to be a client of The Working Beauty.
We as a family went to @madeinthedmv conference over at The Dream Center in SE dc. Such a dope spot and great event. The energy was right and there were so many businesses there representing and sharing knowledge. Events like this make my heart warm. Being a part of a growing community that cares about us! As a black business made in the dmv ( although from ATL) it feels like my duty to give back to the community that has literally FED me. As I walked around the space, I received such warmth from colleagues, peers, and clients. People that emvbracex me, welcomed me back, and reminded me to keep grinding and that we all in this thang together. And man s/o to an event being kid friendly. As I have transitioned from a single woman into motherhood finding places to connect and netWERK has become incredibly challenging. But today’s event had a specific set up for babies and were so accommodating to us walking around with our little one. Man this is the chocolate city I fell in love with 10 years ago!!! I tagged just some of the people I saw- that I have worked with and whom have imparted wisdom in this entrepreneurial journey. If I have forgotten anyone my apologies. Charge it to my head and not my heart because seriously my heart is full right now. It was just good to see everyone. I am because we are! Much love
We love a good headwrap style to add some colour to these dark winter days. Keep an eye our for our next Video tutorial! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
