It’s the little things that we forget to be grateful for. I love it when @twinsidescoop sends me pictures of my kids with my art. I can’t wait to work with them on a piece one day. Right before the twins were born in October ‘17, I had a dream that they colored on paintings and I loved it! I went out and scribbled across a painting I was struggling on and it came to life. Until they can actually make their own marks on a canvas with me, I’ll enjoy pictures of them “playing with” my art.
Abstract , Folk Art, Narrative Art Painting, Food, Clock “Pancakes for Supper” Narrative Art by Santa Fe Artist Judi Goolsby

High up in the sky...
Colours adding to its glory...
Almost touching the Sun...
With the wind by its side...
Soaring and drifting afar...
Like serving the very purpose of its existence, quite on its own...
Yet grounded by the driving force...
And just like that, can we too pretend that there are no strings attached? .
Or should we, once and for all, entangle and cut ourselves free? .
How far shall we go then?
