Really guys, I am LOVING my results! I washed my hair yesterday with low-poo and conditioner, added the mielle leave-in and sealed with wella’s new wave gel and then I went to bed with my hair in a plop. O-M-G my hair was a disaster today (swipe left to look at the pictures) it was weighted down and lots of shine I probably over did it with the leave-in, so I’m like there’s no way I will spend the rest of the week looking like that 🤦🏻♀️. Got home after work co-washed my hair and added a little bit of the same mielle leave-in but I wasn’t going to make the same mistake twice so it was a few pumps, just to give my hair a bit of a moisture without weighting it down. This time I added @wella new wave mousse instead. Usually I really focus on getting clumps but this time I was like you know what? I’m not going to force it! I will not handle my hair like a fine piece of china (thanks for encouraging me not [email protected] ) So I scrunched in the mousse, shook my hair a couple of times, kept scrunching and instead of putting my hair in a plop like I usually would, I kept scrunching it with my microfiber towel for a good 5 min and then I wrapped it in another microfiber towel and let it sit for no more than 5 min. Then I put in some root clips and let my hair dry. When it was completely dry I SOTC and voila! These are my results 😬 now I’m just hoping they look this good tomorrow, if you have any tips on how to preserve curls overnight please do share! Pineapple doesn’t yield the best results for me and neither does plopping 🤷🏻♀️
