Jan. 12 was Sadie's birthday and Jan. 15 was Roxy's. Sadie got lots (LOTS) of treats and a toy. Roxy got her usual cake, cookies (pictured), and toys. I forgot to take a picture of the cake before half of it was eaten, but it's the same as other years. Sadie is now 5yrs old and Roxy is 6yrs old. They're growing up so fast. 😭 #redheeler#cattledogmix#cattledog#tabbycat#oneeyedcat
SOO last week mum FINALLY came home, she was gone for months.. But then when mum came home, she had a suprise for me, I'm now a big SISTER!! This is Mia!! My new little sister!! She makes lots of funny noises, and sometimes smells funny.
I cant wait untill she gets her fur (she is just a pinky for now) so I can show her how to do all the fun stuff! Like roll in yucky smells, chase the ball and best of all, if we are good mum will give us both a treat!! #sister#Roxy#Mia#BestFriendsForLife#Cattledog#Baby#Family
Today is the first time we've seen a rabbit since Daisy is with us. I spotted the rabbit first and called the dogs back. Then they walked a few steps by my side until the rabbit was out of sight. I'm glad that both of them follow me so well and don't go hunting. Because I am for the wild animals to be protected. And so I also tell my dogs.
She was out of sight for about 30 seconds possibly chasing a turkey behind our machinery shed. Somehow, she tore both carpal pads pretty badly. Poor Kandi. #HomeVet#BePrepared#OhCattledogs
. (Once home, we had her stand in her shell pool to clean the dirt off the wounds, dried her legs, applied antiseptic cream, gauge bandages and the yellow bandages on top and will take her to the vet in the morning. We think she may have gotten her paws stuck in some kind of grating but will have to do a search. She's resting quietly now which is great. Thank goodness I always have my dog emergency kit close by but she may need sutures, definitely antibiotics and maybe a cone.)
A pair of dog collars with a few tools that helped along the way. So much more than just these tools go into the making of dog collars, far too many to show nicely in one photo.
On top of this is the time and energy spent learning to use each tool, honing it to the needs of the craftsman. Without the craftsman, the tool is nothing. And without the tools, a craftsman is nothing.
Just remember that every time you buy handmade products you're not just buying the time to make that collar, belt or wallet, but also the time spent learning how.
Oh sweet baby girl Leila! She has joined a beautiful family! The first of the pups off to their furever home! This is a hard week with some tears from Mum but Leila will be so happy! From the pound pic Mum couldn’t say no to, the love we gave her and to a picture of her in her new home. 💕 she is home ❤️- Boz🐾
Double posting today! Never happens! But what an occasion 🤗
Today is Sheila’s 12th birthday 🎁
She is much older now (this photo she was about 1 or 2) and she’d probably bite my head off if I tried to do this to her because her arthritis hurts her and she gets a bit sensitive about things but she is still the best doggo ever and we’ve been together a very long time. She is cheeky and affectionate and I love her 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
