Something you all may not know about me: I’ve been dairy free pretty much my whole life and I’m also celiac! .
That means what I put into my bod matters and I’m always reading ingredients/labels/ doing my best to make sure my body is functioning at an optimal level! .

I guess it’s time to come home. While I’m looking forward to some routine again, WHOLE FOODS, and a consistent gym, I’m already counting down the days to France 🇫🇷 and Italy 🇮🇹 this summer. I can’t believe this is my life. Woooolalalala!!

Retour sur une deuxième journée à l’ice climbing festival. Aiguille. Secteur école. Lignes après lignes tenter d’intégrer la gestuelle si particulière de la cascade. On est loin du bloc et les automatismes sont difficiles à perdre. Rester debout. Ne pas trop lever les pieds, garder les bras bien devant... chassez le ninja en moi... il faut s’économiser, les lignes sont longues. Regarder la glace, sa texture, trouver des repos et identifier les meilleurs endroits pour les piolets. Crocheter, coincer, éviter de taper, se frotter au dry. Passer du temps avec la team BD, apprendre à brocher, faire des abalakovs, installer des relais verticaux... changer son piolet d’épaule. Savoir réagir, toujours avoir un plan B et apprendre, toujours, partout, tout le temps. De jolies rencontres, riches d’échanges et d’expériences.

🧗🏽♀️ I haven’t climbed in a couple weeks, and since The Rec was closed to observe Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, I took a break from lifting and got back to climbing with a couple wonderful gals to end the evening. Boy do I need to get back into climbing on the regular!
Favorite short story collection and favorite drink. // Everyn quickly became my favorite Boulder bartender in November. He made me a version of a Sazerac with both rye and brandy that I have fallen in love with. I met three strangers the other night and recommended Oak for dinner after we talked about whisky. I was told tonight that when they ordered drinks the server modified it as "Everyn has to make it" and "Chealsye style." 😆 .
