  • I DARE YOU TO STOP AND READ: posting this is hella hard. That girl on the left in that swim suit, I barely recognize her anymore, but trust me I remember her VERY WELL. . That girl on the left in that swim suit, hated life. She would dread having to go on vacation because that meant She would be in a swim suit and everyone would see her flaws. She cried on the daily because of who she was. That girl was struggling emotionally and physically. That girl WAS me. I was always comparing myself to others. I had no confidence. I was ashamed of who I was. I was not motivated to change though. I was that girl who would complain about how I looked but did NOTHING about it. I wanted the easy way out. I would starve myself for a few days or eat very little, but then end up eating legit the whole fridge... I wasn’t living. I was to lazy to put in the work. I always found that excuse on why not to change. EXCUSES YALL.... there always gonna be there. . FLASH FORWARD TO 2018. I was done. I was ready for a change. I had NO clue where to start but I thought I would start with eating healthy and actually getting my butt to the gym. I was ready to stop the EXCUSES. Jan 2018 New Years I was ready to CHANGE. Mosts people’s goals for the new year last a good solid month, maybe 2. THIS GIRL. OH NO. I WAS READY TO CHANGE. Lemme tell you though, was there days where I completely failed, or ate WAY to much, or skipped the gym. YES. I am human and I do still make mistakes. But the goal is to always be better than yesterday. And that I did. I learned to love myself along the way. Guys. People will judge you. I know for a fact even just posting this people will judge. But don’t let them stop you. If I let people get to me I would be that same girl on the left. Because I decided to take that leap of faith. I am CONFIDENT. I am happy. I am MEEE. And I sure am danggg proud of where I am today. . So this new year I encourage you. Follow your goals. Even when the days are hard DONT stop. Trust me you’re gonna want to, BUT DONT! If you aren’t where you wanna be today don’t worry! YOU WILL AND CAN get there. Just don’t stop. DONT GIVE UP. You got this, I know you do!

  • 🌈 SUNDAY MOTIVATION 🌈 So today’s motivation I’m using is myself as I need to remember not only today but every day that I am my own motivation as well as many others. 💛 I can openly admit that lately I have struggled with self confidence due to the fact that the Christmas gain I’ve had has gotten me. It’s well and truly got in my head and brought me down. It’s not the numbers or even how I look. It’s how I feel. Sometimes the mental side to eating rubbish or gaining a little bit of weight can be the worst part of it and that’s what I’m experiencing. I didn’t know what i weighed since November, so I know it wasn’t the scales getting me down. I’ve felt quiet, I’ve felt like hiding, I’ve felt uncomfortable, I’ve felt very down and I couldn’t put my finger on why. I now know that with being back into the swing of things the reason whys I’ve been feeling that way. 😞😞😞😞😞😞😞 I’ve felt this weekend that I need to be motivated, I’ve looked at so many peoples posts on their journeys they’re comparison pictures and been so amazed by them all, then I found myself scrolling through my own comparison pictures from the summer when I was confident enough to wear my smallest ever bikini 👙 in my life in front of a hotel worth of people which has always been a goal of mine. I found the picture I took after I completed my 12 week countdown and lost 2️⃣7️⃣lbs and dedicated 6 days a week to exercising🏃🏼‍♀️ and I was so proud but most of all I remember feeling so happy and confident with the way I looked that I even had to throw my arm into the air for celebration🎉! I felt free, I felt like I had finally learnt to love my body because I worked so hard to bloody get it! Yes I’ve had a Christmas gain but I’ve never felt so motivated to do well and achieve more than I have, I aim this year to start completely on plan through the entire year and to up exercise levels and dedications to achieve even more goals than I ever thought I’d be able to! 5ks, 10ks, muddy runner, new exercise classes like spinning and Pilates and all sorts. There’s so many things I want to try and to fall in love with and I NOW FEEL MOTIVATED to work towards them goals! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 @slimmingworld

  • If you ever start to feel stressed or overwhelmed by where you are, reflect on where you’ve been and focus on where you’re going. ✨ . . I did NOT feel like working out today. I don’t wake up every day in the “perfect” mood. But I make sure I don’t allow myself to stay in a funk for too long either. If something isn’t going the way you want it to, that’s ok. Allow yourself a few minutes to “feel it”. Then remind yourself of how blessed you really are, and go take care of your business. 👏🏾 #metime #gymselfie #beyourownmotivation #fitmom #momoftwo

  • Last Friday’s #physiqueupdate 🤘🏽 Slowly But surely noticing small changes ☺️ bulking takes so much more patience than cutting imo, just gotta trust the process! • 😛My macros have me eating about 2,200 calories daily, & most days my carbs are at >200g 😈 A lot for a lil pipsqueak at 5’2” 😝 (👉🏽though keep in mind I still have daily cardio, something I’ve never done in any previous #bulkingseason) • 🙅🏽‍♀️Don’t get the term “bulking season” twisted. Some use it as an excuse to go off the rails & eat like an asshole. Noooo! Bulking is just as important as cutting- you can’t build if you’re not fueling your body properly! ⛽️ yeah you can indulge in treats a little more so than during a cutting phase, but nutrition is still 🔑 & should NOT be neglected no matter what season you’re in. • 👙More exciting news.... competition prep starts soon!! 🤩 This has been in the works for a while now, but I’m elated to announce that I’m joining a team under the guidance of an INCREDIBLE coach & bikini pro for whom I have a ton of respect & admiration.   • 27 pounds gone! With my last baby I got up to 222. Right after I had him I stayed around 206 for a bit until I got back to 189 which is what I weighed after baby number 2. . The picture on the left was about a month after baby number 3 when I was about 190ish pounds I really don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️ I was really too tired to care. With two under two I was just trying to make it to bed time! . The picture on the right is today. On Saturday I was 179! And I’m hoping to be down a bit more this Saturday. But I have so much more energy (I can actually keep up with the three kids) my joints haven’t been hurting 🙌🏼 . .   • Redoing this picture was actually pretty funny 😄 since obviously these tights don’t look so great on me because they fall off 😂😂😂 .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ The before was April 2017 I was about 4 months postpartum and probably at the heaviest I’ve ever been. As you can see I was fuller in many areas. And being honest with you, I wore that work out outfit and more than likely didn’t work out that day 😂🤣 I had no #discipline and didn’t have much motivation. .⠀ .⠀ Fast forward to almost 2 years, where I am hard on myself because I am my own motivation, because I know that if I don’t discipline myself no one will do it for me. Woke up feeling defeated with a sore throat, itchy eyes, stuffy ears (sinus troubles are a chronic battle for me). I easily could of made an excuse NOT to get up this morning and press play and miss my group workout/accountability, but I’m not gonna a little sinus trouble get me down! Instead I popped in a cough drop, chugged my magic unicorn juice to bring me back to lifeee, and got to work 👏🏼 Now I hydrate and fuel my body with all the nutrients it needs to fight off whatever it is my body is trying to let run the show...   • GREEN SMOOTHIE For my #10weekchallenge I’ll be doing and trying as many healthy things as possible 💚 This first tip comes from my mum, which she swears by - always start the day with a huge green smoothie 🥬 Green smoothies are packed with minerals, vitamins, protein and fibre which lead to improvements in skin, blood circulation, clarity of mind and energy 💪🏻 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Add a couple of pieces of fruit to the smoothie, and varying your greens is very important.
