I'm serving both turkey and ham at our Thanksgiving... and while I was online checking out different recipes, this one by @girlscangrill really spoke to me... I mean just look at the caramelized crust on this guy. It's a thing of beauty and shows pork deserves a seat at the table too! Here's to wishing you and your families the very best on this holiday season. Hopefully you'll all be able to take a break from work and just slow life down a little to enjoy time with friends and family.

Wing Wednesday is a WBW (way back Wednesday) to these Jalapeño Popper Stuffed Wings 🍗🌶🧀 SERIOUS question: dry rubbed or sauced❓❓ They were seasoned with @caribeque Honey Heat and grilled on @webergrillsca .
Jalapeño Popper Stuffing:
2 tbsp cream cheese
2 tbsp sour cream
1 strip bacon diced and fried. Let cool and put in food processed to make smaller pieces.
2 tbsp Mozzarella shredded cheese
1/2 small jalapeño diced
Mix it all together and use a piping bag or squeeze bottle.
For the wings:
loosen the skin around the drumette and flats areas with your fingers to create a pocket which can be stuffed (watch the video) Place tip of bag/bottle inside the wing and stuff. Make sure not to over stuff. Smelling hella good!! 🤤

"On the Road Food"
All dishes in those pictures were prepared in a park, on the beach or in the middle of nowhere, only with my camping equipment or a public barbeque. It's not true that you need a lot of expensive kitchen equipment to make good food. The basics are enough. You don't even need a kitchen hahaha... a public barbeque can have the same purpose. Use your creativity to make it work with as little as possible. That way you don't spend much money on things you don't really need and you learn how to make the best use of the things you do have so they become more valuable to you.
It took some time to figure it all out but it was good fun and the things I learnt will be helpful for the rest of my life. It can really make your trip a lot more enjoyable if you can look forward to a good meal in the evening and don't eat rice and noodles for weeks. Also it was fun to learn what eating healthy really means. If you dig into the subject for some time you realise that you can never know enough and that science is not always facts. A lot of information is not up to date anymore, it's proven wrong. It's up to you to find information that is as close to the truth as it can be. It's really worth it. It makes me feel better. You are what you eat.

We are obsessed with these HONEY BBQ WINGS. To whip them up yourself, here is the recipe. 🔥🤤
HONEY BBQ WINGS 🍯🔥
18 chicken wings
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1⁄2 teaspoon sugar
1⁄2 teaspoon paprika
1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne
1 cup Amazing Dad’s BBQ Sauce
1⁄2 cup Peace River Honey
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons hot sauce
4 tablespoons butter
1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
Wash, dry, and season the wings with the salt, garlic, pepper, cayenne, sugar, and paprika. Preheat the oven to 375.
Spray a cookie sheet with a generous spray of cooking spray.
Place the wings in a single layer on the cookie sheet, and place in the oven.
Cook for 35-40 minutes, depending on the size of the wings, turning once.
While they are baking, make the sauce by slowly simmering the sauce ingredients over the lowest heat.
When the wings are done baking, carefully dip them in the sauce, and place them back in the oven for another 5 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbling.
