“What do you mean you’re going back to work tomorrow Mama?!”.
Well, today is officially my last day of maternity leave. I have mixed emotions... I am excited to go back to work as I actually love my job, but I also feel so sad about not being with honeybee every single day.
Billie girl will spend every Thursday with her Nanny, and then she will go to childcare 2 days a fortnight. My plan is to work part time until Billie goes to school, which I think will be a really good work/mama life balance.
I’m so grateful that I was able to spend an entire year with my girl, and watch her grow and learn. It has been so rewarding and such an adventure!
But now, it’s time for this mama to return to teacher life, and watch my class of 30 amazing kiddies grow and learn. ♡

For most parents and teens, this week marks the last week of the school holidays! 🙌 With a return to school on the horizon, perhaps your teen is considering signing up for a new sport or recreational activity? How do you respond?
Do you encourage their experimentation.. or defend the need to stick with one thing? 👊 Whilst it can be tempting to push for our children to commit, experimentation is also extremely positive! Especially as our kids grow older, it's important that we allow them freedom to make their own decisions and to discover what makes THEM happy. 🤗
What's your teen trying for the first time this year?!

Ugh, it's only Wednesday... Who's wishing it was still the holidays? 😩 😂
Remember, it may be back to work after the long weekend, but there’s always time to monkey around! 🐒🐒🐒 We took this picture at the Monkey Temple in Bali while exploring coconut palm sugar in Indonesia 🍫 #liveblissfully
I need to pot these guys properly... but my goal is to keep them alive for 12months this time. I don’t have much of a green thumb but leafy greens around do give me so much happiness. #backtowork#office#prettypots

We’re on day 5 of this...🙁🤷🏻♀️.
All weekend plans were cancelled, the start of the work week is not at all as planned...Last night I had a moment of panic when I caught myself and remembered:
1️⃣ I can’t change the situation, I can only change how I am interpreting and adapting to it 😉.
2️⃣ Time spent stressing and worrying is wasted time, unproductive time, it actually drains a lot of precious energy - instead, I can use my energies towards problem solving, making plan B’s and C’s and reshuffling my engagements of the week where possible and opt-out of the ones that are less critical 👍🏼.
3️⃣ My baby needs me right now, she needs me for comfort, she needs me for reassurance and no one else unfortunately can soothe her the way I do - her health is my priority. I can resist it or just take in and enjoy all of the cuddles and sweet arm naps💗.
If you are dealing with a sick babe right now, I feel you, hang in there!! 😘
