We had a 10 hour layover in Sydney so we decided to make the best of it! We took the train over to the harbor and wandered around. The Opera House was beautiful and so fun to see up close and in person. To touch and see the tile roof!! We caught a short harbor cruise to enjoy the scenery from afar. The kids even got a chance to drive the boat for a bit. If we’d had more time I would have considered climbing the bridge! Of course, I got my favorite Australian treat, a Violet Crumble! #sydney#travelwise5#kidstravel#australia
I'm home! Shout out to the best house mate ever @daiswahtimes for not only scooping me up from the airport, feeding me treats, sharing a glass of Rosé with me, making sure I had a comfortable bed to sleep in but also getting me this amazing new Peter Alexander kimono set. You really are one of a kind. I must say I am also so happy to be back on Aussie soil 🇦🇺 #bff#australia#home#housemate#lucky
There’s something so calming and all-encompassing about a wildlife encounter. It’s as if time stands still and the only thing that exists in that moment is the animal, doing its normal animal things. I don’t know how long I sat on the grass with my camera, listening to the sound of this wombat munching grass, but I do know that it was only interrupted by a few moments where I snapped back to attention and asked myself “Is this real life?” Photo taken with a zoom lens while remaining very still and allowing the wombat to eat as close or as far away from me as he/she wanted. #respectwildlife#leavenotrace
