  • My friend Sam. I met this dude working at a bar in college where we both learned we had a mutual interest in film and since then we’ve worked together quite a bit. He produced my first legit commercial job outta school and last year asked if I’d DP his (and my) first short film, The Bedroom. Tonight he let me know that The Bedroom won Best Kansas Narrative Short at @tallgrassfilm Festival. A big congrats are in order for you man! Keep rockin’ and rollin’. #director #writer #filmmaker #35mm

  • An evening in Michigan. I was super mad at myself — I had showed up at a location and realized I had left my drone batteries back at the cabin and wouldn’t be able to make it back before sunset. On the drive back, still frustrated at myself, I pulled off to take a look at Loon Lake and stumbled upon this gentleman enjoying an evening paddle. Moments like this remind me to try and relax a bit more — It isn’t always as bad as it seems. #m22life #michigan #upnorth
